Ledger's death was tragic. It's a sad reminder that someone who appears to have it all be it good looks, money, great roles, women, etc. is still human, and struggles like anyone else. Imo he was the best joker ever, even better than Nicholson. It's been a few years now, but RIP Heath Ledger.
Ask anybody who had played the role of the joker, they say that it took so much out of you, and if he was already on anxiety mess, though I do admire his acting and
@Susi2584 It was said that becaus he was doing movies and constantly working, thats why he had to take the sleeping aids + other stuff... etc, which then created the lethal combination that killed him.
i give this man props. He did one of the best roles i have ever seen in my life, in my opinion he was better than Jack. I don't blame him for being on so many prescription drugs, i would be scared to sleep if i saw myself as the Joker. it would have scared me so bad that i'd probably go crazy myself from the lack of sleep. Hats off to Heath, he's the man. This was the roll that would make or break your life, i guess it did both.
It's amazing how they pretend it's such a big surprise these actors and actresses are more messed up than we could ever be. It's sad that he died but people die all the time babies die everyday and it goes un noticed by the media , why is he special is it because he's young or is it cause he's white or is it cause he is a great liar and you love how he lies in movies for your entertainment .sad hes dead and we are too
holy crap thats alot. but to the people saying his acting as the joker pushed him over the edge that is an INSULT to his name. He was a professional actor, thats what he did. You cant be as good as he was without being in complete control over his performances. BS.
Another depressed American, too much comfort cause all that in my opinion :D How can someone accidentally swallow all these pills in a day btw ? Hollywood sucks as well as American life style :D
that is it u have money you have Gold u have the best life but in the END of ENDS if you dont have you inside its just not u think about it acters live they life with money gold and best life but they can have a life like us free not having money but beeeen U. not making movies for the rest of ur life having wt to do and to love some one u love not for the money...
i ust want evryone to know that there is no WAY someone can taek that many things and not expect to get sick or in this case die. heath was not a baryard idiot. he knew what he was doing. i really enjoy his movies and he was a grate acotr but it dosent change the fact that he didnt want to wake up.

he was known to have terrible insomina; and anxiety. I have heard of people including my elderly father having been addicting to sleeping pills to try and sleep. as time goes on you keep trying to sleep.
it wasn't oxycontin it was oxycodon which is different but yeah mixing all that stuff is crazy. and it is very strange to see a man that has the world in his hands so dependant on drugs to stay normal ie happy and social. so very sad RIP Heatcliff
To The Man With A Beautiful Mind And A Beautiful Face, Heath R.I.P. Even though I didn't know you and even though you didn't know me your movies mad me laugh and your movies made me cry you are such a great actor and you had so much ahead of you Rest In Peace Heath Ledger I Will Miss You Leanne (Manitoba Canada)
Two things to never mix. Valium and Xanax, and Xanax and Oxycontin. If you're going to be a prescription junky, you better know what you are taking and what not to take together. Xanax increases the effectivness of Oxycontin, so much so that heroin addicts switch to that combo so they can get high once the heroin quits working. Why someone with that much success had to be that downed out is sad. A very popular guy, dead for no reason.
Didn't know all of this, and I guess Heath didn't either. Wouldn't your instincts tell you, though, if nothing else, that it might be harmful to mix all of these drugs? Also, Heath was a delicate person who at the time of his death, according to co-workers on his last film, had walking pneumonia but didn't stop to go to the doctor. I guess when you're down you don't care as much about yourself and sometimes you engage in risky behaviors.
It's the old "more is better" syndrome. If 1 makes me feel good, I bet 10 will make me feel 10 times better. Pnuemonia can be brought on by drug addiction, in particular narcotics because you spend so much time breathing too shallow and laying down. Also the lack of appetite and craving for sugar helps lower your immunity. The depression from doing Oxycontin alone would make most people stop. That, and constipation from hell.
That fool was FUUUUUCKED up...

His life was dark. We just can't see it when we look at most celebs. Some of them are in a lot of pain.

Poor Heath,
It isn't his fault he could sleep. And it wasn't the roll of the Joker. Heath said it was the most fun he had playing the Joker.
Michelle said he had problems already when they met.
RIP HEATH!

Oxycodone is the only ingredient in Oxycontin... Oxycontin is just a brand name for time released Oxycodone.
