While "Earthquake" is the most earth-shattering track on this album, the songwriting and composition here is undoubtedly the most mature I've ever heard Bradford Cox. The way the music sweeps into the second half alongside Cox's crooning is something out of a Neil Young live show.

Amazing album. I was a bit surprised though at how abruptly this track ends....leaves me wanting more and makes me always repeat the album again atleast once :D

@daedley Aah, thanks for the info. I just checked wiki and indeed this track is a tribute to Jay Reatard, I wasn't aware of that. It's nice to know why artists take some production or editing choices, sometimes it's just really unclear as to why something sounds the way it does. Going to check out The Reateards/Lost Sound :)
