So I have an 8GB 2g iTouch 4.0.2 running Tomtom/Navigon. I have the 360 Microsoft GPS unit, the USB cable that came with MS streets in 2007! I even have a bluetooth pharos dongle for it, but could find no BT hack for ipod touch yet.
So, how do I hook up the 360 and the ipod touch? Does the "iGPS360" come with a separate cable? Do u think a female-female USB connector, with the male USB ends of the iTouch & the GPS will work? Will the GPS get powered by the iTouch itself? Thanks for any help!
Coool video pmgrip, kudos! You make me realize that I might be able to do a lot of things with what I have at home instead of going a buying a new GPS (my damn Magellan just stopped working after 1.5 years). Let me tell you the specs in another post.
i have the tom tom app and igps360. I have the module plugged in and the app running but there is no little satellite icon showing up. am i doing something wrong?
(NOTE: i am writing this while inside and i do not believe i have a satellite lock)
Dude can you help me fix my Navigon GPS apps in my iphone how will i improve the signals in my Iphone 3GS? i already contact them hardly get any answers i went to apple to diagnosed my Iphone apple technician told me that the latest navigon apps v. 1.3.0 got bugs causing my google map not run very well aswell the gps signals i am so curious about this iGps360 any positive all welcomed thank you! i always watch your youtube series very helpful keep up the good work!
I guess Apple didn't design their GPS inside of the phone very well. If you need an improvement in GPS reception, I suggest you get an iGPS360. The other alternative is to bug Apple and to try and get your phone exchanged for a new one.
this is tight. im buying a is360. the new tomtom supports 2g now. i have it on my iphone. all maps are stored on phone you just need gps for turn by turn. this might work.

can i walk and navigate with it ? witkout loading or anything else ????????
TheFreakio 11 months ago
@TheFreakio Yes, it works when you walk. You can use xGPS and just make sure you have your local map pre-loaded so you won't need wifi on the road.

@aussiekick4life In order to use a program that needs GPS, of course you will need a GPS receiver, either built-in or as add-on.

how do you use this on the road w/ no internet?
qwertygriffin 2 years ago
The iGPS360 provides the GPS signal and for the maps you use a software application like TomTom, Navigon, Sygic, Magellan, etc.
