  • This is a great video. Thanks for sharing. We have also looked at the proper ways of combining foods and general practices that improve the process of digestion.

    We found this necessary since much of what we do does not allow for digestion to work as smoothly as it should. This video shows what we should always strive for, ie what our bodies do naturally when maintained at its healthiest.

  • It is actually duo-de-num and not dou-dee-num (which is what the guy which the computer voice says)

  • Actually, it's an ancient Latin word (meaning 12, short for duodenum digitorum or 12 fingers- its approximate length) and either of these is an acceptable attempt at anglicizing it. If Spanish is any guide, the Latin pronunciation would be more like du-o-DAY-num.

  • Yes, Thats the intestinal villi. Increases surface area dramatically.
