  • Love your work! Thanks for keeping the magic of storytelling alive!

  • Nice movie! Have you heard about Reduction Festival - the new online event for short films based on environmental issues? Top prize for existing film submissions is £1000 - why not submit your movie and be

    in with a chance?

If you're a UK filmmaker then you can take part in an filmmaking challenge where the top prize is £2000... what are you waiting for?

Google 'Reduction Festival' to learn more, hopefully see you soon...!

  • This is truly wonderful. I know the initial set-up costs are quite high, I know - I have exactly the same gear as of this year. Just a few years ago this would have cost thousands to make on 35mm, 16mm wouldn't produce this quality. This deserves an award. BTW, what was the £14 spent on? Also add &fmt=18 to the end of the URL and hit return to watch in high quality - nice!

  • Thanks for your kind comments. The £14 was spent on two white sheets and some black dye. We dyed the sheets black to have as the background to most of the shots involving the Prince.

Although the Canon XM2 is very long in the tooth now it really still can produce great images.

    Best regards, Matt.

  • Definetly sick movie, great images etc...

    congrats

  • Great movie! I have to do a similar narrated movie for my film club. How did you film the narration? I'd like to get a similar "echo" sound when I do mine.

  • We recorded it straight into Soundtrack Pro on my imac and added the echo/reverb in there as an effect. Thanks for the comment.

  • Awesome!

  • fantastic bombastic

  • Hey, cheers for the comment. Glad you liked it. It was all a bit rushed but it turned out ok in the end.
