  • who cares about somalia. they were in affect post civil war. ever since u nazis set up this corpratism, which is facism, we have been denied the free marcket and the banks get our money...that is right go fuck your self u degenerate. i dont hear one answer coming out of u...did a libeterian bang your mom or what hitler with glasses?

  • @jasonscottt3 "or what hitler with glasses?"... you have extremely poor grammar and learn how to spell "Libertarian" before you decide to leave another asinine comment.

  • they are still not FREE MARKETS! you guys are being incredibly foolish. THEre is truly no free market in the world. And the idea that if you get government out of aspects out of our lives it will immediately be affordable is idealistic to say the best. Do you libertarians actually believe that if you get government out of all aspects of life, that medicine and education would be as low cost as a WAlmart? we tried many tof these things that you guys advocate and it made America an oligarchy

  • cont.

Without all of these government guaranteed loans, many people wouldn't be able to afford the ridiculous prices colleges offer, which means universities will have to lower prices in order to not lose a shit-load of money. People will get student loans just like how they get any other loan without the government. If you got shitty grades in high school and want to major in liberal arts, an investor isn't going to want to lend you money to go to college, and vice versa.

  • 2 countries I can name off the top of my head that are the best examples of a truly free-market is Hong Kong and Singapore, two of the most healthy economies in the world. And historically, the American economy used to be free-market.

And to student loans: you have to ask yourself, why is college so expensive? It's because the government guarantees all of these loans. Universities know these students have access to all these loans, which means they can raise prices.

    cont.

  • @EliteKiller07 HK and Singapore are not free markets and secondly you are aware that the Sam Seder (the guy in this video) has a youtube page and radio show that you can contact him on... read the details in the description. If you think you can wibn the debate I suggest you call him.

  • @turnbacktime

HK and Singapore are the best examples of a free-market, yes. They both have almost no protectionism, very little taxes, and almost no regulations. Both are the most free and least corrupt, according to the Index of Economic Freedom.

Sam should just get Peter Schiff or Tom Woods on for a debate, if he wants to get a libertarian.
