Many declare ellen g. white as a modern day prophetess and to be honest, I believe she was an extremist who condemned the earth and people without being merciful. So it makes me wonder if she was false considering that she made MANY future prophecies in the name of the Lord. A few of which i believe were false and did not come to pass at all. And if you declare something in the name of the Lord, you had better pray that it comes to pass 100% of the time. Otherwise, you fail the ultimate test.

I'm barely starting to appreciate the SDA denomination because i dated an SDA girl. She was cool but we kept getting into arguments about her beliefs and my beliefs. I consider myself a non-denominational protestant Christian who has backslid cuz i still live in carnality but still love the Lord. Not very humbling to admit. I haven't accepted it cuz i feel ashamed everyday. To accept it is to completely deny the Lords existence. Anyway, i don't agree with sda church doctrines & E.G.W.

I was baptized in that church etc, and I rebelled when I was a teen. I went to different churches but I was still convicted by my SDA teachings.

No paster at any of these other churches can tell me why they have a problem with the 4th commandment. It seemed they wanted to take some of the bible and use it when they think it suits them. SDA isn't like that.

listen, i'm not going to tell you what to believe, but all i'm saying is that i don't agree with it. Granted, its possible that 1 day i may be proven wrong, or there may be a possibility that i may be right about my beliefs. (who knows) I would love to find the real truth and won't harden my heart if the truth is set before me but when it comes to the 4th commandment, I know a pastor at a Non-Denominational church who has proven in biblical passages that there was never a specific day.
