He is my mentor from a distance. I would listen to him on the radio in Baton Rouge, LA. every Sunday morning before church. I'm a pastor now and I must admit when I first started preaching I used a lot of his illustrations. I even referenced him in my father's eulogy I preached. I generally admire this man with a Godly admiration.

@truthbymike His wife was my principal during my childhood. I remember his preaching as a kid. I tell ya, kids today need Mrs. Taylor as their principal.

I have had correspondence with him for about 11 years now. The greatest preacher the world has ever seen. And i say that with full knowledge of the Scherers, Buttricks, Spurgeons, MaClarens, Charles Adams, Otis Moss, King, Abernathy, and all the rest. Taylor is the absolute greatest!
