Hey - how are you doing? It's been a while since you've posed a video. Hope you're doing well!

I had a scare recently, a Doctor told me he thought the cancer was back but on Tuesday I went under general anesthetic to have my throat and oesophagus investigated and thank goodness, nothing is there!!

Thank God your scare was unfounded. I bet you were way stressed there for a few days!

I am still doing fine, I will be having my chemo port removed on Tuesday, so expect a video real soon. I will post within a week.

the landscaper's colored his/her glasses green

so it looks like everything is blooming fresh

So glad to hear you are in remission. I was doing a search on feeding tubes and came across one of your previous videos. Even though it was not quite what I was looking for, I am sure it can be very informative for someone who is nervous about to getting a peg-tube. My 21 year old son has had the same tube as yours for over 5 yrs due to a brain injury. I was searching for ideas on how to keep the incision site more healthy. Any ideas?????

Thanks for your comments Gina. My tube was only in for a few months, so I don't have very much experience with that. I had to wash under it with gauze using soap and water. But I have a feeling that having the tube for 5+ years is another story. I hope your medical center can give a better answer than I can. I wish you the best as you care for your son.

Oh wonderful results Ken, and great to hear, you are clear for takeoff!Our trees here are the same way. Our drastic freeze took everything out, in an unusual way. I hope this means a rainy spring with more blooms!

Excellent news! It does seem strange that it takes so long for a biopsy result. I would think it just involves mounting the tissue specimen on a slide and observing for irregular cells under a microscope. I wonder if there is other lab work involved. I used to wait a few days for my mom's CEA results. It could also be just office procedure.

I know they send it out to a lab somewhere. I'm not sure where. I need to ask when I have my follow-up appointment. Thanks for the comment Brett.
