It appears that i just had to really yank at it with alot of force, it was stuck in place there pretty good. It was a bit uncomfortable putting a great deal of muscle into it but it came loose and it tilts easily now. Thanks.
How do you tilt the black stand coming off from the monitor? I got the st2210 which is exactly like yours. Everything i tried i just can't figure out how to tilt it, right now it's facing towards ground and that's not good.

mine works like that as in just press against the top to tilt it back :D maybe yours just doesnt tilt :\
