Why do many who post on anonymous websites use filthy language? And why, because one's family is wealthy, one must retire to eat caviar? Bobby & Ethel's children inherited a strong sense of social justice from their murdered father & also the work ethic to act upon it. So please limit your filth to your own bathroom walls (where you might wash out your cyber-mouth) & go do something yourself to benefit others. Then you might be too busy to vilify others, about whom you really know nothing.
i just cannot believe the coments that i have read. I do not normally do this, but i saw the documentry again tonite and it was very moving for me. What is up.... let's just dog out the Kennedy Family.... Many of them are doing good for us.
what a load of shit. fuck this bitch. she needs to go back to the hamptons and eat some caviar. im sick of self indulgent hippys talking about shit they dont even have a fucking clue about. just so everyone knows . those fucking redneck National Guard fucks who actually did it are the ones to blame. they werent "ordered" by anyone. they were just fucking bored and thought it would be funny to fuck with the prisoners. and they got caught. thats why the national guard needs to stay
you are so wrong. it is a sad part of american history. a ceo or manager has the responsibilty to set the tone for what is acceptable behavior. It is so wrong to blame it on the national guard.
Another 5th generation Kennedy trying to pretend that she isnt just another trust fund baby but has an important "message" for us all. And if its a liberal cause that wipes its feet on the ideals of mainstream America, well, so be it. The important thing is to do something idealistic.
I am from the USA and would consider myself fairly "mainstream" but my ideals don't include evil and torture! Just because she's a Kennedy or rich or privileged doesn't mean that she can't produce something meaningful and important. I learned a lot from watching her documentary and it motivated me to speak out and act against the negative image my country has created in the world. I may be idealistic but at least I don't turn a blind eye to the evils my beloved but misguided country committed!
Complete blindness on how things actually happen in the world. You seize on a simple minded "ideal" which makes you feel good about yourself..(much as Carloyn-poo does) and that is all that matters. What the consequences of your idealism are in real life...more terrorist attacks, more death, real wars.. you simply dont care or understand..all that matters is YOU...WONDERFUL YOU..and your pet causes
Well lets just make vast over-generalizations, what fun! It's a stretch to say that terrorism and war are consequences of "idealism". I think that people who support the war in Iraq as a "War on Terror" often gloss over the difficulty of waging a war against terrorism; it's not cut and dry like waging war against a country and maybe you should look at the consequences of trying to do so: more terrorism, more death, more war. I don't think you have such a firm grasp on the issue either.
More of the amazing ability of the pseudo lntellectual to tie themself into knots with bogus issues, fake posturing and good old fashion ignorance, and of course the
usual MASSIVE passivity and resignation all masquerading as "wisdom"
Oh, and just for your information, I care about more than just assuaging my "liberal guilt". I do want results. However, I don't think we can compromise our principals to reach those results and I'm not so jaded that I think we need to. If you want to call that idealism or naïveté, go right on ahead.
@ehunter2 Idealism isn't always the result of ignorance. Sometimes comes from keener vision. People advised RFK not to speak in Indianapolis the night that MLK was killed, but he did, and his gentle words diffused the crowd's anger and probably spared that city the riots that shook so many other places. Rory has not only her father's looks, but his thirst for the truth and his sense of right and wrong. He would have been proud of her; sadly, he never even saw her.
Isn't this the selfish broad who went sailing and drinking while the nation was grieving after John Kennedy, Jr. crashed his plane into the sea? Wow, such compassion. Also, why didn't she make a film about the bravery of Americans in Iraq? I am so over these rich, spoiled fuckers.
its hard to talk about bravery when you invade a country without any just cause and kill thousands of innocent civilians, including women and children. if you dont understand politics, shut t he hell up.
I watched this 6 times in 3 days because I'm a projectionist. During the 5th showing I decided to go for a break (while still listening). I couldn't. I had to go back and keep watching. The 6th time I saw it I was even more riveted to it than the first. This is a first rate documentary. It airs on HBO on Thur. Feb. 22 at 9:30 PM, and Fri. Feb. 23 at 4:35 AM. (got the times from IMDB, hope they're accurate). Hopefully it will be released on YouTube.
Western feminists carp about trivial, self-indulgent nonsense, while their Muslim sisters are treated worse than cattle. Try Mid-East "honor" killings; try female circumcision; try beatings for not wearing a burqa, and on and on. The Taliban will not even allow women to visit a male (or female) doctor, because somehow the female form should be covered at all times. So Muslim men force women to wear that stupid burqa and are beaten if they fail to do so. Meanwhile, Western feminists are coddled.
Alas, she has those beautiful Kennedy eyes, but she is a bleeding-heart, treasonous fool.

Ted Kennedy and Robert too..both created Civil Rights Inc...and milked for all
it was worth. Teddy rode the Civil Rights Hobby Horse into the ground
using it get elected for 45 fvcking years. Meanwhile this Teddy the murdering
psychopath used his power at every turn to destroy mainstream America.
Open borders, welfare, dumbing down of schools, surrender in every conflict.
Teddy Kennedy was IDEALISTIC to the core..and as is so typical, a sociopath
at the same time.
