  • lol at the dude in the background..PICK IT UP!!

  • i choke in league play all the time....this is why i respect norm so much i couldn't image playing in front of the whole world television. trying to bowl under pressure i wouldn't be able to do anything.

  • duke plays good under pressure, that's why he wins a lot.

  • this duke guy is one tough bowler to beat, he just won't give it haha.

  • norm duke is a true legend!

  • simply one of the greatest matches of all time and one hell of a performance from both players

  • This has to be the most inspiring bowling video on the web. Norm Duke, I can't tell you how much you motivate me and thousands of other bowlers to be all we can be. I hope you're on TV again soon!

  • At 0:26 a fan yells "robbed" on duke's shot which left the solid ten. He was ripped off for sure. I leave solid 7's on shots I think are hitting the pocket all the time because I am a lefty.

  • @CliCkBuG Solid ten's are part of the game. Everybody leaves solid ten's.

  • @CliCkBuG

Robbed? No rob. It is normal.

  • 3:48, once he got the U.S.open tilte, he would trade it for the masters title back lol

  • i hate mika's big loft

  • they're shouting "DUUUUUKE," not "BOOOOO."

  • that dude is a Duke hater

  • Mika seems like such a nice and humble, although quiet guy. I hope he wins the Dydo 2009 Cup this year.

  • my bad dude so he is the finland version of walter ray at shooting single pin spares

  • Mika is the swedish version of walter ray whe it comes to single pin spares

  • mika is from finland, not sweden

  • Duke had a lot on his heart and his mind that week....not only was his grandfather's death affecting him, he was bowling on the toughest oil pattern on tour. On top of all that, he had never won this tournament prior, and each time he was close, he was denied.

His reaction when he made the bucket was priceless and raw. I don't blame him one bit for reacting that way. Norm Duke is not only a HOF, he is a class act. Here's to a possible title defense later for Normy!

  • 8:01 is the best part of all. haha :D way to go, Norm!

  • 7:54 is one of the most inspiring moments Norm has provided to us... His reaction was perfect.

  • ALL HAIL THE DUKE FUCK HATERS!!!! =)

  • @Austin382988 Duke looks like a Keebler elf.

  • Duke you the man way to go and to the haters out there of norm duke you dont know what your missing

  • norm duke is a character, hes awesome

  • Every bowler on this show was fit to win this major, but none more than Norm Duke. For a man who has accomplished every possible bowling feat there is, the one thing missing from his list of accomplishments was a U.S. Open title. No better way to wrap up a season than to watch Norm capture the Triple Crown. Congratulations!

And as for Kent, Loschetter and Mika, you'd better believe you'll see these guys back next year. I have high hopes for C-Lo, I think he'll get his first title this year.

  • Whoever hates Norm Duke isn't a fan of bowling in my opinion. The guy is already a legend and will be in the hall of fame very soon.

  • probly coz he was tired and wanted to go to bed...think about him before yourself

  • It was in the middle of the day. Wasn't night time, so the bed thing won't fly. PLUS, he should think of children fans before himself.

  • quit crying

  • he might have wanted to go to bed, doesn't matter about the time of day

  • @donnafpct

Norm Duke is a classy guy, without question. You have to ask yourself if it was just your perception of that one situation that made you label him as a bad guy, or if he consistently does things like that. I bet he was exhausted and needed some rest. Norm would certainly take the time to sign autographs if he was feeling up to it, and sometimes pros simply don't feel up to it. That's ok though! You don't have to like him, but the rest of the bowling world does! :D

  • @BowlerScott

From all the comments on just one video, you're obviously a Duke "worshipper". Try taking up something productive. And the whole bowling world doesn't love him like you do.

  • @donnafpct

Actually, bowling is incredibly productive for me. I've made an unbelievable amount of progress in the past 2 years, and I'm among the top 10 percent in Chattanooga, plus it's enjoyable and I've made a lot of great friends through it. I don't worship Norm Duke, but I do watch him closely, as he's one of the best in the sport. I have not disrespected you, and I hope you won't stoop to that level either.

  • @BowlerScott I can take himor leave him Scott but I bet he would tell me how to make 0ne-pin spares, if you know what I mean.

  • I like Norm Duke and all I just dont see how a nearly straight bowler could be this good must be his technique:)

  • @Wolfman12395 I REALLY hope Duke makes the U.S Open telecast this weekend! He makes this pattern look like an absolute joke. XD

I seriously fear for the seniors tour when Duke hits 50!

  • @TopKirby8305 I hope so too, Duke is definitely my favorite bowler. :)

  • take a hike, haters. Norm Duke rules, bowling can use more Norm Dukes. But he's one of a kind

  • If you can beat him on TV, Go and show us. Don't just criticize him here

  • Interesting how on almost every Norm Duke strike, the six kind of kicks out the ten. Anyway, little observation. Congrats to the Duke for getting his Crown.

  • That's how bowlers want to see their pins fall..the six kicking out the ten.

  • Why were people booing to Norm

  • They are screaming Duuuuuuuuuuuke.

  • Ahh it must be my sound device, it's rather old.. : ) makes the sounds hear bad : P

  • Duke prolly owns u,, dont hate on duke, he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet !

    He is great

  • if anybody makes fun of Norm Duke's jump after picking up the bucket in the 10th, they're a fucking loser. Norm just defeated every odd that has been stacked against him his whole life because of his size and humble attitude. he's a winner

  • More thsn just a winner, dude, how about LEGEND.

The last time I saw Duke this happy was when he bowled a 300 (the 15th ever live televised 300 game) against Walter Ray Williams Jr. in Tacoma, WA (1/5/03) just down the road from me. I have that perfect game recorded live on tape.

I also remember the heartbreak he suffered in the 2000 U.S. Open in Phoenix when he needed a strike to beat Robert Smith for the title and didn't get it, so I feel glad that he FINALLY DID IT!!! WAY TO GO DUKE!!!

  • dooode can you upload that video on here i really wanna see his 300

  • @AK47Music The word "LEGEND" sucks.

  • It looked like he almost left the 5 on that spare. I'd have been jumping too :)

  • Awesome! Wolfman, thanks agin for posting these!

  • Is there a time when Norm isn't sick these days? lol

  • Norm Duke had a great day. Hopefully next year he will have a few more of those.

  • This was a very exciting show, and a great way to end the season.

  • It's so awsome to watch Norm's reaction when he won this! You could just tell this was the best day of his life!!! WTG Norm! You deserved it!

  • Does this make Duke one of the top 3 greatest bowlers of all time? I already consider him the best. He is by far the most versatile bowler ever!

    GO DUUUUUUUUUUUUKE

  • Deja Duke

  • It doesn't seem that long ago in which a player was eligible for the Hall of Fame once he turned 35. Now, it seems that with the rate the PBA tends to continuously alter their qualifications, Norm Duke may still be a future HOF'er by the time he turns 70.

Of course, the way he's going, he just may be winning tournaments that far into the future, too...

As it is, what a great victory.

  • Does anyone know what ball Mika is throwing?

  • Mika was throwing the Brunswick Avalanche Solid

  • Ah, thanks.

  • a brunswick avalanche

  • love norm duke keep up the upload wolfman

  • Wow. All I can say is wow. Norm bowled amazing all show on such a tough condition. I was rooting for him the whole time. I love watching duke bowl. I love how he jsut turns into a man on a mission. The only thing he thinks about is hitting is target, doesnt think about the tournament or the game. Just the task at hand. Brilliant.

  • love dukes reaction after he picks up the bucket

  • "future Hall of Famer"? i thought Duke was already in the PBA Hall of Fame? he should be if he isn't

  • I thought that too...

  • He is!!

  • thanks wolf i watch all your videos, so nice not having to watch on tv to rely on your vids, thanks man

  • Thanks wolf.Great matches.

  • Who is Mika Koivuniemi?

  • A BOWLER duh

  • are you serious?

  • huh... bummer if that kid broke the trophy XD

  • Thanks so much

  • Hey Wolfman. Thanks for all your time and effort with the uploads. You've made alot of people very happy.

  • They definitely looked tired.
