Wow! So this is pretty new. Deregulation has happened in the energy sector and companies are competing for top position. There WILL be unethical people that bend the truth to make a buck. These individuals will not succeed. But people need to be aware. Period. You signed the contract and did not do your diligence. That said there will continue to be a lot of smack talk akin to political positions. I am curious if the negative editorials are produced by the competition.

they are using a mlm company called momentis to do their scam now. Watch out MLM world do not join Scam Company momentis, they rip people off and they rates are way too expensive and just, my bill went from 150 to 300 in one month. This was a nightmare, one of momentis scam agents signed me.

Idk why all of you are saying they try to scam people just because a couple salesmen tried to screw people over. I've read their sales rules, all of which tell you not to do exactly what those salespeople did. All of the salespeople I know in Momentis and Just Energy do in fact use the services themselves, and do save money.

It's incredible that you think the whole company is a sham just because the people doing the sales are shifty(we all know sales people and lawyers aren't to be trusted).

@SaM5246iPhone Oh wow, you know one person who scams people. Impressive. I've never even known anyone who was taught to push the contract onto other people. The price protection is in fact more expensive, because you lock in that rate for 3 years, so you don't stay at the lowest rate, they do an average of what their highest kwh rates are, and the lowest, then keep that rate for 3 years. So if you sign up during the winter, it will seem more expensive.

If this idiotic concept was good there would already be companies abusing it with gasoline. But the Natural Gas scam works cuz they target old people & non-english speaking people at home and ask to see their gas bill. No one at the gas pump would agree to this nonsense

It's more like if gas was 2 dollars in the winter, and 4 in the summer, then you'd pay about 3-3.15 dollars year round. People think it's a scam, but simply just don't do enough research on the product, so they get fast talked by salesmen. Most people never even pay close attention to what they're paying on their electricity bill. Stop signing contracts after doing one sit down and thinking you know the prices. Do research.

Then what they do is sent other people to recruit and so on until everyone has the same electric services, Which supposedly will earn the salesman 100 dollar income for each recruitment.

Well we are North American Power never heard of this company, but people need to be aware and know what they are signing up for. We offer discounts on electric in New Jersey, plus offer the customer a free home business for referring others.

If your not saving money and making money at the same time dont sign up with any of these guys there is way too many out there to get scammed by.

yes i just got a visit from a representative from that company saying he was sent by Con Edison,that he was an inspector and was recovering Con edison's customer,legally he is slamming customers,because he makes people sign forms saying people are accepting the change
