I am not convinced that you know what happened. They owned grenades, no one disputes that. The argument is whether or not they were all inert practice grenades and therefore legal. To obtain a valid search warrant you don't need conclusive proof, just facts that would a lead a reasonable person to believe evidence of a crime may be found. They had more than enough for that.

I am not convinced that you know what happened. They owned grenades, no one disputes that. The argument is whether or not they were all inert practice grenades and therefore legal. They were believed to have illegally modified legal semi-automatic weapons making them illegal automatic weapons. To obtain a valid search warrant you don't need conclusive proof, just facts that would a lead a reasonable person to believe evidence of a crime may be found. They had more than enough for that.

Local sheriff said CPS went to "Compound" and investigated a couple of times and found no evidence of wrong doing. But, the MSM didn't bother to even investigate and ACLU was absent. Innocent until proven guilty. Did you watch Oscar nominated doc "Waco: Rules of Engagement"? Alot of facts afterthefact. Isn't that always the case unfortunately? The media is a tool.

We cannot bring them back to life, as simple as that, get over it...By the way it was a very sad event, don't you think you will make all the pain & sadness come back to the living relatives of the victims in this incident? Rokery, I dont believe I ever defended Koresh or said he was a great guy. The coathanger abortions havent been proven that Ive ever heard(please supply proof and Id be glad to view it). You mention protecting the kids, would u say that sending in tanks with CS gas(which was illegal to use) and flame-throwing tanks was the best way to "protect" the children? It couldve been handled differently.

In asking how I would have handled, well lets say I would try something a little less deadly for starters like maybe tear-gas canisters? Yes possibly harmful but not 100% deadly like CS Gas and flame throwing tanks. Very sad all the way around I agree but just the rhetoric about "our main concern is for the children" and then you CS Gas them and blow the place up? Not much concern there. Thanks for commenting

They also were not stockpiling weapons as the media deviously reported. Yes, many of the adults legally owned guns and had them, but in Texas, many people do, as is allowed under constitional law! The neighbors testified the Davidians were peaceful people. Reno was the real monster!

Despite Koresh being nutty, YOU DO NOT GO AND KILL THE CHILDREN TO GET TO THE PARENTS...PERIOD! The authorities could have easily picked up Koresh when he went into town every week for supplies!!! They followed him several times. Also, none of the Davidians were found to do anything against the law...not even Koresh, as far as rape etc. The girl who claimed she was raped, also finally confessed she lied about it.

They were a religious group with a leader that was "alleged" to have broken the law. Instead of picking him up and arresting him they waited till he was at their land and invaded them. Go to google video and search for "Waco, The big lie" should be in 2 parts, with each approx. an hour long.
