i didn't know you could use mouse and keyboard on ps3, fully working. Can you connect them on every game? Can you use any mouse and keyboard? I am a pc player and sometimes would be cool to use the mouse in a PS3 FPS.
OMG! Look at that INPUT LAG! It's like Killzone 2, seriously just concentrate on his hand and see how long it takes for the movement on the screen to match his hand movements. Very very very laggy, no way can you play well like this.
Also to people saying he's going to go blind:
1) Sitting close to a TV doesn't damage your vision, if anything will strain your eye muscles and give you eye ache but it will NEVER damage your eyes.
2) I play on a 40" PC monitor(TV) sitting this close all the time
What's the difference here? I thought console gaming was for them who "like the couch and controller for comfort". I say if your changing your play style you might as well join the PC community. It has many benefits like higher resoloutions with better graphics and a far smoother gameplay experience. Playing above 30FPS will be like playing a new game.
@GIBISAFA you forgot the increased price to maintain that FPS along with those higher resolutions ( I play on all 3 consoles and PC games[150 steam games]).Some people play on the consoles because it is easier for them financially.With a small one time investment this allows people to use a keyboard and mouse instead of a controller.I know as a disabled gamer who can't use the controllers well an item like this is quite useful as I am currently doing quality and price comparisons.

I have been playing fps on pc for quite a long time now and I just recently bought a ps3 (because it is cheaper to spend 250 on it rather than build a good gaming pc, I know a good gaming pc will own any console on graphics but I'm on a budget right now being a college student). I would get only 1 kill for every 4 lives on COD while on pc I have like a 1.85 k/d ratio -_-

@fsp48 It shouldn't be compared to racing wheels. This KB / Mouse adapted translates Mouse and KB movements into controller movements, lets say the controller is 100 DPI, then the mouse will be too. The console sees it still as a controller.
The consoles sees a racing wheel as a racing wheel, you can have three analogue pedals, clutch, brake, throttle. A controller does not have three triggers. So its a seperate device.
@alterbr33d I compared it to a wheel in regard to the fact that for most driving games more specifically a driving sim, a wheel is a much better input tool to use for that genre. Since pretty much everyone drives a car they are more familiar with it and it became a no brainer to make a game controller version. The FPS shooter genre was started on PC and adapted to console so there are many that just want to play but can't play with a stick as an input device and choose to use M/K.
@FERGbeibah No it doesn't, the interface was done for being managed with a controller not a mouse. you need to use the keyboard or have a controller on to manage the interface.
Hey buddy, one of my friends talked me into getting BF3 for PS3. I played Counter Strike back in the day on PC but I can't play these new console shooting games worth a crap because of the gamepad controls. Then I found out abut this Eagle Eye convertor. Bottom line, is it worth it? Or are there any ther brands better than this one? I got BF3 today but I couldn't shoot someone who is AFK using the gamepad...

If I still suck after I get this, I'm going to be really depressed..lol
@aknames For me its loads better than a joy stick coming from a PC back ground. Don't really notice any lag but not quite as sharp as a PC would be...

Hey mate i got also the eagle eye and BF3. but i have a problem.
WHen i dont put anything on turbo ( on the switch thingy) i cant zoom in with my scopes.
Then i put the scope button on turbo and i can zoom in but then my repair tool does not work.
do you have the same problem?
