They aren't lying to customers, they specifically state that it works on windows, and on apple hardware running windows through bootcamp

WOW! That was awesome lol. I've just bought a copy of this, but I'm on a Powermac G5 at the min so buying a windows laptop for this tomorrow. Only bought it so I can fly without crashing my actual 450, which I already have haha. I'm a beginner sooo....

im running phoenix and real flight on my macbook pro with windows 7 bootcamp snow leopard it runs GREAT!!!

well if you're running bootcamp then you're really running windows, and of course phoenix will work. but you can't run it on an apple OS using windows emulation.

PhoenixRC uses a hardware USB dongle that handles the simulator's priacy protection. This dongle ONLY works in windows as far as I know.
