What a beautiful Lake, but it is undeveloped except for camp grounds. We were looking for a hotel or inn on the water to stay at. We drove part way around the lake and relized we would not find what we were looking for, so we headed to Kentucky, Land between the Lakes. It was a long day, but we made it to Moors Lodge on Lake Kentucky. MO is lovely, the lake prestine, but this trip was about hotels, not camping. Maybe next time.
Lake Wappapello is generally for outdoors recreation, about the closest thing to a hotel there are the cabins you can rent
