i AM a skins fan and i take the rivalry seriously but at the same time i'm realistic. i hate dallas but when i have 50 friends who are cowboys fans, its hard to hate them as much. don't get the wrong idea, i never root for them.

The reason the redskins were terrible in the second half of the season was a result of their inability to protect Jason Campbell, take shots down the field, and run the ball with clinton portis. They did all of those things in this game along with stellar defensive play, which was the only consistent strength of the redskins during the entire season.

Actually, during the regular season last year the Cowboys were the only team who defeated us. We defeated you guys, the Giants, and the Eagles. Dallas defeated us by 10 and the Giants finally got us back in the NFC Championship. Green Bay was suited to play the NFC East teams last year but I'm not so certain about this year.
U no i give props to those redskins it was a great game by them. They held marrion barber to 44 yards only the best can do that. I think its gonna be tight to see who finishes up top in the NFC East. GO COWBOYS!!!

The Cowboys are 4-4 in their last 8 games played. The Giants are 7-1 including the last 7 in a row which happens to be the longest current winning streak in the NFL. The Giants are #1 in the toughest division in football and the Cowboys are not even 2 but 3. The Cowboys just lost to the redskins who the Giants already beat and oh yea i almost forgot...Giants are the defenending Superbowl Champions who knocked off the Cowboys.
why the fuck did we abandon the running game?? If we got marion and felix more involved there would have been more then enough opportunities down field to win it, clearly the coaches fault not the players.

tony romo needs to learn to grow up. he always thinks he's going to win and when i see him on tv; i'm noticing the way he forces the ball. the quarterbacks' coach needs to control tony romo a little more. this guy is an undrafted quarterback who needs to learn to play in control.

Exactly. Redskins are 4-0 for a reason. They are a good team. Thats just how it is. Its not going to be a perfect season. Heck the Eagles have lost two games now but it is a big deal losing to someone in our devision. But maybe its a good thing to lose a game like that this early in the season and wake some people up.

It is not a big deal that Dallas lost this game. However It does suck. Despite what cowboyTD says Dallas was outplayed but made plays of their own. One thing is, Tony Romo seriously needs to stop throwing picks in close games. Mainly when its against a pass attacking team that will burn the Dallas pass defense. Also, I said this earlier. This whole game had no Felix Jones and Marion barber 1, 2 punch. In all honesty the Dallas offense did do a good enough job. The Dallas pass defense however....

All I can say is that the offensive play calling for running plays wasn't good. No counters, no toss sweeps, no shotgun inside handoffs, very few lead plays. All the Cowboys really did was strech plays and between tackle plays. Still its only one game so hopefully the Cowboys will stomp out the Bungals and Cardinals in the next two weeks. Stil the last 3 games its just painful to watch the defense give up long drives, very few turnovers, no interceptions these last 3 games.

At least Newman admitted that he played bad. He manned up and I sucked and hopefully he'll play better next week. Still everyone on this defense played bad, sacks missed AGAIN, long drives by the defense. Playing 10-12 yards by your corner and all you had to do was throw short. Still TO was thrown to at least 20 times out of 60 plays, and still bitched about it. Yes, I know its the competitor in him, but he's going to do it every single time there's a close loss.

The Redskins just played better plain and simple. They took advantage of our corners playing 10 to 12 yards back by throwing slant and quick passes. We just allowed them to get near the goaline. 4 straight scoring possessions is not good defense, its horrible. Also, all I can say is I hope the defense plays mad next week. I want some fucking interceptions, fumbles, more sacks, and pressure from a horrible Bungals team next week. If we don't were in big trouble against the good teams.

If you want to ask why we didn't have more variety ask Garrett, he totatlly runs this offense. So ask the person behind the play calling because if you ask Wade he's just give you a dumb stare. Still I know one thing, Miles Austin is the 3rd reciever and Sam Hurd isn't and won't probably for this season. If that ball hits your hands, you getter grab it because if you don't then your not playing. Still, the defense couldn't get a turnover, we didn't run, and we had a stupid ass penalty hurt.

Cowboy fans who throw their hands up in the air wondering "why didn't we run the ball" don't understand the fact Washington's defensive gameplan was to stack the box. Blache, during a practice before the game, told Springs "we need you on Sunday, because we're gonna stack the box against Dallas."
I have a feeling that the Cowboys were surprised by this strategy,which seems insane, but were unable to take advantage of the one on one matchups.

dallas just didn't play the way they always really do, T.O was rushing tony romo to give the ball to T.O more, when really tony romo should just throw it to who ever is open, and another thing that put a hole in the cowboys, marion barber didn't get the ball enough. only 8 carries? cmon man we gotta get the ball to barber a lot more then that.

Actually, during the regular season last year the Cowboys were the only team who defeated us. We defeated you guys, the Giants, and the Eagles. Dallas defeated us by 10 and the Giants finally got us back in the NFC Championship. Green Bay was suited to play the NFC East teams last year but I'm not so certain about this year.

the redskins clearly dominated this game, if not for some silly penaltys near the goaline the score shouldnt have been close. The redskins came out with a great gameplan and executed it. The cowboys are a good team but Romo better quit throwing picks every game.

Here are some facts on why the Giants are better than the Cowboys:
The Cowboys are 4-4 in their last 8 games played. The Giants are 7-1 including the last 7 in a row which happens to be the longest current winning streak in the NFL. The Giants are #1 in the toughest division in football and the Cowboys are not even 2 but 3. The Cowboys just lost to the redskins who the Giants already beat and oh yea i almost forgot...Giants are the defenending Superbowl Champions who knocked off the Cowboys.

Exactly. Redskins are 4-0 for a reason. They are a good team. Thats just how it is. Its not going to be a perfect season. Heck the Eagles have lost two games now but it is a big deal losing to someone in our devision. But maybe its a good thing to lose a game like that this early in the season and wake some people up.

It is not a big deal that Dallas lost this game. However It does suck. Despite what cowboyTD says Dallas was outplayed but made plays of their own. One thing is, Tony Romo seriously needs to stop throwing picks in close games. Mainly when its against a pass attacking team that will burn the Dallas pass defense. Also, I said this earlier. This whole game had no Felix Jones and Marion barber 1, 2 punch. In all honesty the Dallas offense did do a good enough job. The Dallas pass defense however....

I'm not giving up on Dallas, far from the truth. I just don't understand why we loses to teams we should beat.
The thing that worries me for the rest of the year is the secondary. How three guys that could start for all of the teams in the NFL at CB, and look that bad, boggles my mind. Same with the safeties.
I think Dallas is going to have a great year, but there are things that worry the hell out of me.

Well, it's better to lose now then in January. Hopefully we can get on our "A" game from now on. We also need to get better on D for sure 12 weeks for that. The Giants lost 6 games and won the Super Bowl. Hell, the 1-15 Dolpins almost beat them. The fans still had more confidence in their team then you guys during the season. They didn't whine as hard You guys know we have a winning talented team. Our team should improve, we have 12 more weeks before the playoffs. Plenty of time to improve.

Hmmm, Tony Romo wasn't playing for the Cowboys for 12 years. Another thing, Peyton Manning lost his first three playoff games. So dont give up Indi didn't. This is just one game. The Cowboys of the 90's lost games like this before. We let the Giants beat us in '95, not just beat us, but they ran the ball all over us in the running game. So dont say well we played better. So you actually think this one game will ruin us? Dallas has alot of talent can bounce back from this.

Here is a nice couple of stat:
Combined running back rushes in the first half - 5, second half - 3. Felix Jones did not get a touch, 26 running back rushing yards, 44 total with two TO runs and a Romo scramble.
ABANDONING THE RUNNING GAME WHEN IT IS 17-7 and 17-17 IS RIDICULOUS. Jason Garrett called an AWFUL game. Awful. Barber's last run was a 15 yarder, and then no more touches. Felix gets no touches after last week. It's easy to lose when you make YOURSELF one dimensional.

it was pathetic man. The Cowboys played like shit the past 3 weeks and i've said it before. It was going to catch up to us sooner or later. WTF man. The 3 and outs, the INT, I miss the "Playmaker" Tony Romo from last year, this Romo sucks so far! But oh well, the Redskins showed up today. The Cowboys left their game at home. It made me sick, they're capable of so much more. Hopefully the step it up soon! T.O. and his drops! Sam Hurd had the damn onside kick! Just a pathetic game overall!

It wasn't Romo's fault. I really am getting tired of everyone dumping everything that goes wrong with the Offense on Romo. His pick was a poor pass, yes. Did he get sacked? No. Did he get penalized? No. He made one bad play all game, and it's his fault.
Listen, if he didn't get picked off all day today he should have just been given the MVP trophy. When you give Marion Barber the ball 8 times total in a close game, and then tell Tony to go throw the ball 50 times, you can expect to lose.

it was good game congrats to the skins u did what u needed to do i think the cowboys overlooked u and they payed for it u gotta play ever game with the same intensity and i dont think we did that we came out with no urgency and it showed our defense half assed all game and it showed like said before alot of talent but no chemistry and the coaches were horrible u never go out of your game plan to satisfy another player ( T.O )

All I can say is that the offensive play calling for running plays wasn't good. No counters, no toss sweeps, no shotgun inside handoffs, very few lead plays. All the Cowboys really did was strech plays and between tackle plays. Still its only one game so hopefully the Cowboys will stomp out the Bungals and Cardinals in the next two weeks. Stil the last 3 games its just painful to watch the defense give up long drives, very few turnovers, no interceptions these last 3 games.

Romo kept forcing the ball to Owens who was covered real good. They didn't use Barber and Felix at all. And lastly Newman was exposed as on over-rated CB that he is.

At least Newman admitted that he played bad. He manned up and I sucked and hopefully he'll play better next week. Still everyone on this defense played bad, sacks missed AGAIN, long drives by the defense. Playing 10-12 yards by your corner and all you had to do was throw short. Still TO was thrown to at least 20 times out of 60 plays, and still bitched about it. Yes, I know its the competitor in him, but he's going to do it every single time there's a close loss.

I know, that's what I was thinking. Skip Bayless hates Terrell Owens. So whenever he does poor he smashes it in everyones face. But T.O wont blow up in anger this year. He knows he's 34. He too old too be acting a damn fool. Plus he knows Dallas is his last chance to win a ring. Hopefully he'll get one this year, that could forever change his life. You are optimistic. I honestly can't say i see Dallas being in the big dance with a receiver who says he wasn't involved enough even tho he was targeted 20 times. I also can't see them there with a QB who changes the play from run to pass just to feed the ego of a certain receiver, just to throw a INT as usual.
Maybe we can trade those 2 players for Campbell and Moss who can help this team go the Super Bowl.

The Redskins just played better plain and simple. They took advantage of our corners playing 10 to 12 yards back by throwing slant and quick passes. We just allowed them to get near the goaline. 4 straight scoring possessions is not good defense, its horrible. Also, all I can say is I hope the defense plays mad next week. I want some fucking interceptions, fumbles, more sacks, and pressure from a horrible Bungals team next week. If we don't were in big trouble against the good teams.

If you want to ask why we didn't have more variety ask Garrett, he totatlly runs this offense. So ask the person behind the play calling because if you ask Wade he's just give you a dumb stare. Still I know one thing, Miles Austin is the 3rd reciever and Sam Hurd isn't and won't probably for this season. If that ball hits your hands, you getter grab it because if you don't then your not playing. Still, the defense couldn't get a turnover, we didn't run, and we had a stupid ass penalty hurt.
