I've been playing piano for thirteen years (since I was three, I've fifteen now), and when I think back to only within the last year at how much I've improved, I feel inspired. And seeing this guy makes me know that I will in time be this good :) I wonder how good I will be at 20 and then at 30....

Go to a music store and look at the "FAKE BOOKS" these are collections of hundreds of songs.. shows, jazz, pop.. That way you can always be learning something new, and best of all, when you get a request, you can look it up.. and voila!  maybe a tip will come your way!

yeah that is true. i started off playing at hotels and lounges around town when i was 13. all i can say is that since then, i've played by ear and by heart. i improvise almost all my songs unless i get a request which doesn't happen often.
