This was and always will be my favorite Sonic game. Introduction of awesome characters, a chao garden, fun multiplayer, great gameplay, and a lengthy main quest give this game an advantage over it's fellow Sonic games. :)

Alright, I just want to point this out because your comment is annoying. (please take no offense. I'm a freak when it comes to this) :)

First thing, if you thought this game was the best, why would they remake it?

Second: even if they did remake it, you said it yourself, all the new games suck. If they remade it, they'd change the plot (most likely) they'd change the voices and the levels. The game would then suck and it'd be killed.

Then again, we shouldn't sweat the small stuff.

This is by far one of my favorite Sonic games. I wish there was more like it to be honest. The latest addictions that Sega has released just simply sucked hardcore. This is the only Sonic game (besides the really old ones) that I've actually enjoyed playing over and over and over again.

Sonic songs are great. There's a variety of genres which makes the game itself very unique. Sonic likes Rock, Tails is sorta Pop-y, Knuckles is into rap, and Amy likes Jazz-ish stuff. The song are developed well, too. They fit their characters personality. c:
