Once a week would help your game a great deal. More often would be better. As far as reps, they key is maintaining control. Don't get sloppy. Once you start to lose form and control, you're tired enough to be done.
No it's not necessary. The point I'm trying to make is that you feel what it feels like to twist/turn the lower body. Too many people try to generate more club head speed by moving their body (lateralizing) toward the target. While a "slight" lateral movement is necessary on the downswing, turning the lower body is critical to allow everything else to fall into place before impact with the golf ball.

Great Tip! How often should you practice this? How many reps?

Ignore this brainchild that can't even spell a 2 letter word "is" and wouldn't know what a golf club looked like if he stepped on it.

Good vid. My college golf coach encouraged us to do these exercises to improve strength and tempo.

The heavy swing trainer clubs are also great to help you learn to swing on plane.

That's great balance but is it really necessary to practice on one leg?
