  • What a gorgeous bird! Indeed!

  • This is LA - 5 FN or LA-7 Maybe it's an all-metal La 9 period after the Second World War. YAK had a liquid-cooled engine. On this plane is radial air-cooled engine АШ 82 ФН

  • @seahorse1962 its a Yak 11 it was a Yak body but whit a Radial Engine it was a Advanced Trainer

  • Ungeheuer!

  • This looks to be a Jak3u.....the last variant...which had the Soviet 1630 HP ASH-82FN radial instead of the previous inline engines. Due to reliability issues some have been re-engined with the American Pratt and Whitney R2800 with excellent results. Jak 11 was no doubt an outgrowth of this.

  • AAAHHHH radials....plane porno....

  • this is not a Jak 11 , this is a Jak 3u

  • @andylady1988 its not a jak 3 u its yak 3 u

  • loks like a copy of the fw-190...

  • well, some planes do look alike, but the yak version are much older than the Fw-190 so than it would be the other way around. Besides, all yaks have flippers instead of wings :P

  • @metalmelvin its not older the fw 190 flew for the first time at 1 June 1939

and the yak flew for the first time 13 January 1940

  • Wow yak looks just like Lavochkin LA-7 with that radial engine. In a way I like this appearance more than the original narrow nose :D

  • Geile Yak 11!Super Sound!

  • Beautiful sound! Like a tiger.

  • i got to fly one of these today, was an amazing experience

  • My God look at its manoeuvrability!!! Only the Sea Fury does those things!!!

  • sounds awesome...is that an Shvetsov. It's definitely a Yak-11 make no mistake about it. Check the rego on the civil register...!

  • No it's a P&W R-2000.

  • Sound of pure power. Fuck jets!

  • Agreed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Amen!

  • you are all wrong

    it is a Yak-3 not a La-7 !!!!!

  • Baby sounds GOOD!

  • You´re wrong this is a lavotchkin la 7 i have this beauty in 1/48 scale from academy.

  • there aint a La-7 flying today. Only 1 La-9, it sure looks like one, but you better ask the owner first ;) beside, you ever seen a La-7 or La-9 with a 2 bladed prop??

  • modelling rules doesn't it?
