  • mango! lassii

  • I tried this and mine came out really sweet. I did't like it, your looks good

  • @oksana170166 : We suggest trying to find an Indian or a South Asian Grocery store. The other option would be to find mango pulp at a whole foods store/ natural foods store. Hope that helps :)

  • @ShowMeTheCurry Thank you so much for the advice, but I am 12 years old and I am very good at cooking and my mum asked me to make this ice-cream but i can't find mango pulp still,I went to Supervalu,Lidl and Tesco I never found any mango pulp and they are the best food stores in Ireland. How will i make it?

  • @AnimeGirl81000 : Here is another option - if you can get frozen mango's chopped up in the freezer section, put them into a food processor or blender and its the same thing as the pulp

  • @ShowMeTheCurry mm.... can't wait.

  • i made this with fresh mangoes and its awesome. Thanks for the great recipe.

  • where can you buy mango pulp? I couldn't find any when I went to the grocery store.

  • hi! can i prepare whip topping or whip cream at home.if yes then how can i prepare it.if i use simple creame will it gives the same result.thanx

  • @mariacuto

You can make whipped cream at home by whipping heavy cream in a bowl that rests in another bowl with ice. You must used whipped cream (in the whipped form), not in liquid form.

  • hi! can you tell me if i can prepare whip topping or whip cream at home.if i just use simple creme in this will the result be the same.

  • i tired this recipe waste of time and waste of money

  • Okay on the whole transfat metal thing true but not nice. I can come up with ways to make that more homemade and healthy but people are lazy these days, so let them make it how they want to.

But the thing I hate about the vid is that the lady only put so much fresh mango in. And the time it took??? Plus she took forever to put some on the top. Geezusses!!! Forever I tell you

  • @bdx96

  • What's so wrong with this recipe is that it takes what could have been a very healthy dessert and turn it into a heavy metal toxic chemical based food, that tastes oh so yummy.

The problem is they use canned fruits (toxic heavy metals from the can), and they also use a ready made cool whip with trans fats and loads of chemicals in the process.

Get it together you sweet girls at ShowMeTheCurry and give us all safe and healthy alternatives for your recipes!

  • Don't get whipped cream here in India...what can i use instead? Can I use amul's fresh cream?

  • I'm from Poland and I don't know what is whipped topping ;( Can you say me what is it?

  • @arkasza2007 u can used normal cream :) i 2 used normal cream and my ice-cream is wonderfull:D
  • u need 300z of my balls

  • friends you don't no how to make condensed milk?

for condensed milk you needed the

    1= hot water

    2= dry milk

    3= batter

    4= and blander

    for making of condensed milk

first take the the dry milk.. batter with the hot water and add this all thing in the blander and bland for 10 minute your sweet condensed milk is ready <3<3<3<3

  • Comment removed

  • Can i add this in to a ice cream maker with out the condensed milk and add 2% milk

  • i knew it she ate the last few pieces lol (y)

  • tuti fruti...LOL...

  • Hi. May i know. If i dont have the mango pulp. How many fresh mangoes do i need? And how much whipped cream do i need? Thank u! :)

  • Hi. How many fresh mangies do i need if i dun have the mango pulp? And how much whip cream are needed? Thanks. :)

  • Hey, this recipe looks great! However, I'm trying to eat healthy, and condensed milk isn't the best choice for me. Could I make this by using evaporated milk (condensed milk without sugar)? or even diet condensed milk (condensed milk made with sugar supplements rather then using real sugar)? I'm also curious as to what the texture will be like? Will it be close to soft serve? Or will it have a similar consistency to Kulfi?

  • @SingDark : I have made this with the low-fat or fat-free Condensed Milk and it worked out fine.

The texture is like Ice-Cream - not a soft-serve (unless you allow it to melt a bit ;) It is a fab ice-cream and so easy to make. We also suggest that since Mangoes are in season right now, you use fresh mangoes to make this dish!

  • @SingDark u could use soy bean milk! :D

  • look it seems so easy to see but i am skeptical whether it will be soft or not because i tried to make one by leaving it in the freezer but it was not soft .........however i will try this one first and let you know?

  • @rosikaable : You will love it :)

  • hy, its seems to be delicious, i live in spain and i dont know if i can get here the toping, it is a kind of cream? can i sustitute it for another thing or even make it? thanks, gabriel.

  • How can I make this vegan?

  • @carlosherrera92 : You could make some vegan condensed milk and use the rest of the ingredients (they are all vegan). To be honest, we have never tried it but think it should work. Let us know if you do, it'll be useful information for us and our viewers :)

  • Excuse me if I end up using actual mangos (mangoes?) how many are equal to the amount of pulp in the can?

  • @ShowMeTheCurry The Cool Whip that you use is NOT vegan. It has loads of trans fats which are from animals and the chemicals in it are extremely unhealthy as well. Canned foods also contain heavy metals.

Just make your own whipped cream. There's no need to cut corners and put in extremely unhealthy ingredients.

Next time, try using fresh Mangoes and homemade whip cream and agave nectar. You get a better quality dessert that tastes much better than the store bought junk recipe in the video.

  • change cc from transcribe captions to transcribe audio lol...great vid Hetal and Annuja

  • where can i buy the mango pulp? i like to shop mainly at target and walmart do you think they will have it? or will i have to go to a desi store?

  • @nabeelm714

We have only seen the mango pulp at Indian grocery stores. However, some Walmarts are starting to carry Indian items like Pani Puri.

  • Do you think you could substitute coconut milk for the condensed milk?

  • @kreiger

No, it will not work in this recipe. Condensed milk provides the sugar while preventing too much crystallization.

  • I tried this but I tried using frozen mango and a can of mango juice since they

don't sell the canned mango here. It was ok - an easy to make dessert. But I don't think I liked it with cool whip - and if I were to make it again I'd want to use whipping cream - the cool whip has a bitter chemical taste to it that I find annoying -

  • well I certainly plan on trying to do this -

  • usually there is a big seed in the middle of the mango? LOL. there is always a seed inside the mango!!

  • I did try this one , and it turn out perfect from my taste. one thing is , i cannot find mango pulp or puree , so i found mango smoothies. thanks for the video .

  • I might be saying something illegal but...

    mmm mmm good.

  • Can this be frozen in like a kulfi form like a popsicle? Thanks

  • @EBABE143

We have not tried it but it seems like it would work. Please see our kulfi video.

  • sorry im french what is the 2 ingredient of the recipe( wipped topping) its milk cream or yogourt ?can you help me pliz

  • @kefaloucos76

Whipped topping is a non-dairy whipped cream. You can substitute fresh whipped cream.

  • Y wud 36 people dislike??

    Who doesnt like mango!

  • @DoubleE4eva Maybe because they use canned fruits (toxic heavy metals from the can), or that they also use a ready made cool whip with trans fats and loads of chemicals in the process.

The best and healthiest way is to make from fresh in almost the same amount of time.

That is unless you like eating heavy metals and chemicals in your mango dessert.

    *dislike*

  • @DoubleE4eva It's 54 dislikes now! :(

  • @DoubleE4eva, I don't want to say this because the hosts seem like very nice people and the recipe looks easy and scrumptious, but they are a little quiet and nervous on camera and even a little unnerving on some of the "mmm"s. Please know i say this with respect yall are following your dream and it appears your doing quite well.

  • @DoubleE4eva I don't but I didn't dislike this

  • OMG that looks soooooo good!!

  • i dont want curry, show me the car fax

  • Comment removed

  • Can you use other fruits like carrot?

  • @slimfast67

We have never tried it but other viewers have used strawberries, peaches, pineapple, etc.

  • I already bought the mango Pulp..cant wait to make this :) Is it possible to substitute the whipped topping with heavy whipping cream? If its possible, what are the measurements? Thanks!

  • GO INDIANS!!!!

  • i always make this ice cream it tastes so good

  • can we use any other fruit like srawberrys?

  • @KSA8383 Though we have not tried it, it should work.

  • is cool whip just whipped cream? we dont have it in england!

  • @eatenbydinosaurs Its a non-dairy product but others have had success with dairy whipped cream.

  • Cool whip as with most (if not all) kraft products is a non-food. Leave it for the clueless and mcdonalds customers. It is made of trans-fats, artificial flavors, High-fractose corn syrup (from GMO sources), other chemicals and will slowly kill you from all directions. Also, the product is mostly over-priced air and there are much more economical ways to slowly kill you. I am shocked that a pair of nice East Indian ladies would promote this garbage as an ingredient in one of their recipes.

  • @markfred88 I kind of agree with you sir. It does look good though. But somehow Cool Whip as a primary ingredient takes away from what you'd expect from a 'pair of nice East Indian ladies'.

  • I love mango!

  • durka durka wkbk

  • thank you so much

i live in brazil and some times we go 2 the countryside and get mangos rite from the tree and eat it [all ways get my hand durty+stiky]

    LOL=D=)

  • Wow! This is so much easier then actually making ice cream with milk!

  • Surely great ice-cream when you makes it.

I have eat that Mango-Ice cream and its the best with Cherry-ice cream

  • can i just bend the mango and get the "juice" as the pulp?

  • hi this looks soo yum! i wanted to ask we do not have cool whip in uk is that the same as whipped cream? thank you

  • y does anuja always get to taste de food?

  • @naruto14271 : Coz she is lucky ;)

  • @ShowMeTheCurry no wonder shes slightly heavyer

  • @naruto14271 cuz shes a fat bitch.

  • @XDChillpill Mine too....;D

  • can i also use pineapple puree or peach puree.

  • @sandylolo101 : Yes, you can :)

  • How can convert this recipe into cappuccino ice cream? any ideas...

    thanks

  • i love indian food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • can i replace condensed milk with something else?

  • wow!! looks yummy!! i found this video recipe too here at youtube, it's nestlecreamph

i love it! healthy and guilt free recipes that are easy to prepare! :)

  • I really like that scoring of the mango. I never saw that before. That must save so much time and fruit. Thanks.

  • ahmm. i will suggest using 2 containers in making ice creams..

the ice cream goes inside the first container and the first container inside the other the messurement of teh second container should be tice or better trice the first one.. make sure that the first container is in the middle so putting some wood as stand or a styrofoam will be good. :) this will make a good creammy ice cream and not a hard frozen one. :)

  • good i will do it

  • can you use different kinds of fruit?

  • USUALLY a big seed in the middle? not always?

  • Mangoes are my favorite fruit. Thank you for the recipe! I have had purchased mango ice cream I would rather make my own.

  • Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks Guys Nice and Easy Way to impress Mrs... Thanks to Vanii too.

  • Please let me know where I can buy the tutti frutti (shop/online)? I'm not able to find the authentic Indian tuttifrutti anywhere online or in Indian store :( All they have is dried fruits...

  • @priyamvadha123 : Sorry, we have no idea...

  • Why did she say "any other non dairy whipped topping" Cool whip isn't non dairy.

  • @itsmonicaaah : The store bought Cool Whip is a non-dairy product :)

  • @ShowMeTheCurry Cool Whip Original is made of water, hydrogenated vegetable oil, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, skim milk, light cream, and less than 2% sodium caseinate (a milk derivative), natural and artificial flavor, xanthan and guar gums, polysorbate 60, sorbitan monostearate, and beta carotene (as a coloring)

    :/

It is marketed as non-diary but it has skim milk and caseinate which is milk....

  • @ShowMeTheCurry

what is the problem with dairy whip topping?

  • @suiseiseki2007 There's dairy already in the canned milk.

  • @ShowMeTheCurry

    Cool Whip?

    Cooh-whip.

  • @ParaHaXz Yeah! I was expecting a natural recipe. Cool whip is American stuff. No way!

  • @itsmonicaaah Cool Whip is made from oils, not cream (which comes from milk).

  • Comment removed

  • @kissxmexkillxmexlove Where in the world are you getting this information??

"kraft foods recently changed the recipe for our Original variety of cool whip whipped topping so that it now contains additional milk ingredients, including cream. All varieties of cool ship, including the prior original formula, contain sodium caseinate, from milk.
