I am not saying I like or dislike this kind of music but I do not agree with your statement, "Allá en el Rancho Grande" is a very popular folk song in Mexico and it has been play for years all over the world. everyday basis mexicans listen to rock pop rap, balads, romantics, the usual, this is more tradicional type folkloric music, im mexican and i listen to tecno trance and electronic, and some rock, so yeah, not all mexicans listen to traditional mexican music
