these are lovely, I love the concept. I used to make them in my high school art class actually and they've recently just come to mind again. I'm actually surprised to see that people use separate pieces of paper though. Seems like a better idea because I think we just used one and it was hard to cut and score it. Very nice :)
@BergamoFirenzeSGV Oh - you will love doing it this way! I think I did some back in high school too - but remember them being super difficult. I like the three pieces of paper because I can make them whatever size I want to...have a go at it and let me know what you think! ~Jann
@sharonril1 Thanks Sharon...I love them since they are easy to make and a quick way to try out some new techniques! Glad you enjoyed it and hope you will make a few for yourself!
@messageinafold I didn't know you "missed" it....probably when you were out traveling the highways and byways! You know I tthink everything is better in "miniature!" Love sent right back atcha!
Awesome.....I've done a few squash books .... A little different..8 x 8 is the size I start with. Check out my channel I use popcans and do some cool things!!! TFS. Yours in crafting Tami
Yes that would be wonderful!! You are such an incredible teacher besides being so talented. I love every video of yours so far. I am in Republic, Mo. just a few miles from Springfield. If you are ever in this area or near by please let me know, it would be my treat to meet you!
Oh Sybil...you are so sweet! I would LOVE having you in one of my classes....can't we get you to come to Nashville sometime soon? I also travel quite a bit -- maybe I can schedule something where you are...wouldn't that be fun?!?!?!?

Hi Jann - Your detailed explanations and descriptions are exactly what we all love and I thank you for that - you make it look so easy.
I especially liked the beginning of this video where you say how you try out new techniques on smaller projects - what a great idea - I'll be scraplifting that one for sure!!!
Jen -- thank you so much for your encouragement...it means so much to me coming from someone whose videos I sit and watch over and over again! Hope you have a wonderfully crafty day -- and a Happy Easter!
Thanks Tina...they were a lot of fun to make (I couldn't help myself...and made a couple more -- they are easier for me to make than cards....so I did a few to send out to some friends this next week). Hope you have a terrific Easter too!
Pam -- thank you so much! I appreciate you watching. I had never thought of making them little like this...and isn't everything cuter when it is LITTLE?!?!?!
I love these little squash books you've made. I never thought of making little ones. I'm going to call you my "Crafty Diva" friend because you can come up some really awesome stuff!!!!
Oooo Leslie...I haven't ever been a Diva of Anything before....do I need to get a new outfit? One splattered in paint and Mod Podge? Surely it will need some "distressing" along the hem. *smile* You are the best -- thanks for all of your encouragement!
@WhatYouMakeIt1 You are too funny. Yes, a Diva Outfit. But seriously. Watching the things you do, and what you have done. Inspire me and I appreciate you for that.
Great tutorials, I am learning so many things and I love it. I can't wait to upload some of my creations. I taped some and then discovered that I had the tape at too high of a resolution. I already gave the albums away so I am working on two others. Thanks so much for all the inspiration!
I hadn't ever done one before either....they seemed more "card oriented" -- but I am now totally loving the possibilities. Would love to see what you come up with!

Once again Jann totally cool! I am so envious of the people who get to sit under your tutelage in person, they are so blessed.
Have a wonderful Resurrection Day tomorrow! ✞
