Perhaps is like you said Fade2Dark, but you can´t denied the fact that we need to protect her when she is in problem, if you see in 3:58... chris, in this case, the partner, can´t defend himself.

He closes enought to him, in hurt him... instead he shoot him. So, for example, in the battle vs wesker... we have to go after she all the time
