Latest technology improves the sensitivity? I don't think so, you can see the guy dragging things twice because it didn't work the first time. Doesn't look very sensitive to me. Not enough better than the Dare to be worth upgrading.

i've had this phone for a year and a half

it was great when i first got it, but now it rings people by itself and it is very laggy. Yesterday, I rang 3 different people about 7 times by accident. It was also in school which was a bit risky. Sometimes when I'm texting and I press reply, it doesn't go on so I press it again. Then it DOES go on and I taps send so I send blank messages.

It's a good phone for beginners and younger people but if you want a slick new phone then this isn't the one.

A lot of problems of KP500 were fixed in KP502 which works geat ! I had no problems so far.

well,

what i think of this phone is,

last christmas my friend got this, and igot a samsung tocco lite,

mine is still here, and hers got ruined because of how much damage there is,

after 6months the camera went all blury and the speakers ruined,

&ive dropped my tocco lite about 5067040300 times and it still works perfectly.

so if your going to choose between this lg cookie & the samsung tocco;

i think you need to choose the samsung tocco!

i have this phone, it looks great..

but after a month, it wouldnt let me change my main screen, it wont let me edit pictures, and when i try to save a video, it automaticaly turns of. I am now getting a new phone this christmas, even though i wasnt planning to get a new one for another two years yet. Im now going for a San Francisco (sony ericson) any comments on that ? Thanks

Don't but this phone it looks like a good budget touch-screen phone but it is not. Texting is very hard and the touchscreen takes about THREE times to get it up. I might be getting a Samsung Genio Qwerty. A much better phone.

That's almost the same as the GW520, except the Cookie doesn't slide and doesn't have a QWERTY keyboard. And the buttons at the bottom are slightly different in style to the GW520. The only thing the GW520 hasn't got that the Cookie has is the pen. I would personally get the GW520 because then you have the option of just touchscreen, or slide and use the QWERTY keyboard aswell. See where I'm coming from?

I had the LG Cookie in Nov 2008 from the Carphone Warehouse. Sadly I had nothing but problems with the phones software. It kept rebooting itself every few minutes. Shame really as the mobile is a nice mobile dispite those problems. . . The Tocco is Samsungs response to the Cookie. My friend has the Tocco. Nice mobile. . . . I now have a iPhone 3G.
