DC has had a horrible defense all year, so LA fans don't think much of this game, cuz DC's defense almost, basically gave the game up, and LD being him all he had to do is to out run DC's sluggish "D". I mean let's be real here, the team with the worst Defense statistically this season is LA Galaxy, if there's anyone that had a sluggish defense it would be Galaxy, but Donovan and Co. pressured all night. Re: Donovan's second goal. He was not offsides. You can't tell from the first camera angle, but if you saw the game live, you'd see. If you pause at 5:41 you can see as well. Donovan is super fast and that was a loonnng ball over. When it was kicked, he was equal with the defender.

Re: the foul. If you watch the full clip of the Red card on "Beckham4ever"s page, you can see Beckham shaking hands a totally friendly with Burch. A post there said Beckham was arguing with the ref in favor of Burch, that it should NOT have been a Red. Beckham received a Yellow for arguing against that call.

Agreed. While I think it would have been Yellow Burch fouled Becks right in front of the Linesman, and I think he made the call for Red. Yellow cards tend to turn into Red Cards if you are dumb enough to commit them right in front of an official. If the official was 10 yards out and couldn't hear what Burch was saying as he was plowing Becks, it would have just been a yellow.

As a DC fan I must say If the Galaxy are suppose to be the trash of the MLS, DC must be the trashcan. DC made it too easy for LA, this performance should heat up fire up Soehn's ass. 5-2 LA beating DC what's wrong with that. This was a good game, especially for LA.
