I noticed Ma Lin learned that if he returned it to his forehand side to the point here Xu Xin had to stretch, then Lin returned it tight to Xin's backhand, it was almost guaranteed a point. This won him alot of points.

Ma Lin had Xu Xin completely outplayed, completely calculated and completely tricked. I really thought this would be quite a contest, especially when the two of them are penholders and playing the same style of tricky game. but this victory of Ma Lin clearly sends a message: "wanna out-smart me? you have a long way to go, kid."
