I like how ALDOT actually put in Interstate-style hard breakdown shoulders and interchanges at major points. Definitely makes me want to drive US 72/AL 2.

Ha, the interchanges with AL-279 have better lighting than most Atlanta area interchanges, including the biggies on I-285. Looks like an adequate road for that area.

The most well-lit interchange in the Metro that I can remember driving through is I-85 and S.R. 138 in Union City.
