  • very smart all round..good sound and well done the band of the ACC

  • Good sound well done the AAC never really rated you that good as a band but im very impressed with your sound. will put you back in my top ten above the Para Band.

  • I fancy the cymbal player do you think she is free?

  • Guardsman32,

The cymbal told me that she thought her personality would clash with yours.

  • lol good one, you cant win them all :)

  • Was that a female officer leading the new guards?

  • Indeed she is and as an officer in the Army Air Corps her operational role is as a pilot.

  • @Saulg21 The female officer may be the same one in a 'Young Eagles' video where she is interviewed getting her wings.

  • Thanks for putting this video on, this day was my sons last guard at Windsor Castle with the AAC. So proud of him. xx

  • Aces High! at 0:31

  • great clip! the AAC took a long time to get its own band, when the royal artillery alanbrooke band was disbanded they were re-badged to form the new AAC band in 1994. music is eagle squadron--aces high (luftwaffe march from battle of britain)---recce flight (AAC march)--???? march---national emblem.....regards M@rty

  • The march they are playing from Windsor Castle is called "Un Der Linden" which is the Avenue in Berlin leading to The Brandenburg Gate.

  • Hi,

the avenue in Berlin is Unter den Linden which means "under the Lime Trees"
