  • One question........ How was PREDATOR not on this list????

  • How is a great white shark a monster..? And for goodness sake, get a better music choice.

  • where the f..k is "species"...? Or predator ?

  • i like the sounds lol

  • Am I the only one who thought that the music was from a crash bandicoot game?

  • No.1 Aliens Or Jurassic Park

  • @Anacondas101 Jurassic Park isn't a monster movie!

  • do you know what would be good ? Dragon wars

  • What age rating is killer clowns

  • @sam02monsterlover now adays probably PG-13 but back in the 80's and 90's R.

  • you should have Predator

  • @sam02monsterlover It's HIS top 10, not yours.

  • I knew it was gremlins from when I first heard the theme song! :)

  • 1:50 ohgott ich bin vom stuhl gefallen :D

  • look like you like Crocodiles XD

  • ooh come on you think alligator is better than alien and king kong???

  • Where is "Monster in the closet" on the list? hehehe

I like your list. Good times. :P

Please copy this and go to any translator .

  • Gremlins theme song and Critters perfect

  • me an my friend are doing a ALIEN and Elfin Lied cross over. Funny how the xenomorphs was number 10! xD lol

  • what's with the music?

  • Comment removed

  • @nindustrialny guess you didnt go up in the 80-90's

  • Thumbs up if the music makes you want to bounce :D

  • Where's John Carpenter's 'the Thing'?

  • awful just pure dee awful

  • Wouldn't put these in the same order, but these are all fun movies.

  • this song is so retarded XD

  • Title said American monster movies Godzilla is Japanese and Gorgo is British.

  • Where's Frankenstein and the Wolfman they were more successful than most of these.

  • littel shop i the best

    Thumbs up who like godzilla

  • @cristian07souza godzilla is cool kkk

  • try putting some good ones in next time

  • thx for including TREMORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Alien in last? Psshhh.... Though I love purty much all these movies.

  • alien and tremmors are the best in hear

  • I wish america had made up more mythical monsters and monster like godzilla and the nessie.

  • @995soldier How could u not like the gremlins song

  • Number 4 my fav movie! I have watched it 20 times!

  • killer klowns isnt chris hansen in that

  • I HATE CLOWNS !!!!!!

  • use some else music. cuz this gremlin song is not so great

  • the whole time I was dancing to the music!

  • did tokyo let them make american godzilla or not?

  • What song is that?

  • @warmonster9

  • i almost die seing this

  • this kind of suck and stupid

  • Killer Clowns from outer space is going to fucking scar me for the rest of my god damn LIFE

    else pretty decent list

  • gremlinssss!!!!??@!!!1 XD

  • I enjoyed this, Gremlins FTW!!!

  • I would suggest you peruse some of the classic Universal pictures of the 30s and 40s-Karloff's Frankenstein trilogy ranks above anything on your list, as does a lot of Vincent Price's work, as well as either version of "Cat People", "The Gathering", and lots of other films

  • do you know the plant chomper from PvZ was inspired by little shop of horrors?

    you'll know,by the way,nice video.

  • no zilla or clover?

  • all the movies in this video are gay. when i typed in monster movies i wanted to find the best ones like werewolfs and wierd ass cool looking monsters...not normal animals like sharks and giant moneys.

  • @RetardedxVideo

'Monster' is a very flexible term.

    And Kong's a gorilla, not a monkey.

  • @HayesAJones Gorillas are a type of monkey or "ape".

  • @MrCubeKing

    Monkeys have tails. Apes don't.

  • @MrCubeKing

still monkeys are different from apes gorillas are monkeys but there not monkeys there gorillas

    monkeys are smaller them gorillas

  • @MrCubeKing

Ape and monkey are two entirely different types of primate. The most obvious differences is size and the presence of a tail.

  • @MrCubeKing Monkeys have tails. Apes don't Kong is an ape.

  • Comment removed

  • Two alligators on the list? one wasn't enough?

  • @MrCubeKing

Eh, only one's an alligator. The other's a crocodile.

    I liked my crocodilians.

  • @HayesAJones oh, i haven't seen any of those movies so didnt know that, but have you seen territory, a great crocodile movie! :)

  • @MrCubeKing

    Can't say I have.

  • @RetardedxVideo your a gau

  • @RetardedxVideo your a gay

  • @SuperJJsmom yes i am.

  • @RetardedxVideo Aliens and Jaws are gay? You have a bad taste.

  • @Saki2407 sorry i didnt see them, those are the only good movies.

  • @RetardedxVideo what are u talking about? did you not see the killer clowns from OUTER SPACE, the critters, TREMOR, the plant from OUTER SPACE, and the GREMLINS. i haven't seen many of those just walk around on earth or in a zoo, so they must be from OUTER SPACE

  • I actually do agree with you on the Aliens special effects. Alot of new shows use too much CGI, but if they take the time (like in pirates of the carribean) they are really good.

  • killer klowns was maybe one of the worst movies i have ever seen :S

  • @robbiepeep

You haven't seen many movies then, huh?

  • @HayesAJones alien was epic right?

  • @robbiepeep are you insane!? its just awesome movie

  • I remember these movies when I was a kid, but that was in the 80's. You may want to go to the video store and watch something slightly newer.

  • @BroticFritz

I like to indulge myself in all ages of monster-dom, old and new. I just find the old one to typically be better, or at least more enjoyable.

  • @BroticFritz yea, but ALiens still has good graphics and CGI, alot better than some of the movies comeing out now. ALot of those older movies did.

  • king kong...for christmas? 0:44

  • @TweedledeeTyler

I guess that was the release date.

  • Cryptozoology novel see video book trailer

  • Another Great list! I guess you like the Gremlin Rag a lot, huh?

  • My family is at Lake Placid right now... I GOTTA MAKE A PHONE CALL!

  • GRIMLINS!!!!!!! :D

    I LOVE GRIMLINS

  • those are all good movies that i remember

  • HOW IN THE FUCK(!!!!!!!!!!!!!) IS JAWS NUMBER 8??????????!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?! that motha fucka still gives me chills! in the first movie.. when the dude is trying to climb on to the tiny little flipped boat, and all u see is a faint blur of jaws beneth him heading towards his legs.. and all of a sudden they both dissapear? and in the next seen all you see is the dudes fucking leg??? omg.. amazing movie horror moment

  • @troyhopson DUDE i totally agree i nearly pissed my pants watching Alex and Quint Die

  • Comment removed

  • You forgot Godzilla!!

  • @johnarcheus

You mean the TriStar movie they tried to pass as Godzilla? I enjoyed it, but it was NOT Godzilla. Godzilla's an unstoppable, destructive force of nature, not an iguana who runs away and goes down with a few missiles to the side.

  • @HayesAJones

thats the version ive seen as well, i enjoyed it but i was expecting godzilla to frickin level New York City. but then agian the only monster movies ive seen have been Gremlins and Gremlins 2 and GOdzilla and bits and pieces of Aliens

  • @HayesAJones you are right... But zilla is a strong monster too! Everybody agrees that he is not Godzilla, but they also agree that he is strong too!!

  • @johnarcheus

I'd pit a cap on the term "strong". He's fast, that's for sure. He's definitively agile as well. Cunning too. But "strong"? I'm not so sure. Don't get me wrong, I like Zilla. But I consider him to be more of a smart, fast fighter than a "strong" one.

  • @HayesAJones wow you even talk like a nerd.

  • @231johnjohnson

    And damn proud of it!

  • @HayesAJones a very gay thing to be proud of

  • @231johnjohnson

Hey, you apparently watched the video, so you're in with the rest of us nerds. Embrace it!

  • @HayesAJones no actually i was just looking for a good movie and as you probably guessed i didn't find one in this video.

  • Love how alien is considered an american film when it was made in the uk with a british director, british film crews and a swiss artist designing all of the sets and the monster, not to mention two british cast members out of the eight or so in it and a south african actor playing the monster. American? Maybe the money was american but the film was british through and through with a few american actors

  • I think penntwise the clown from it, is alot more scareier thn the clowns in killer clowns from outer space

  • man i miss those old school monster movies you just dont see any like those anymore :(

  • Your forgetting classic shlock like Monster in the closet or CHUD but yea some good picks with some really fun memories.

  • Alien is way better than most if not all of the movies on the list

  • 1:10 haaaaaaaaa ese poster de cocodrilo me dio pesadillas cuando era niño como por 2 semanas T.T

  • what about cloverfield

  • @Tischkopp

I'd have liked it much more if it was a straight-up monster movie instead of the hand-held camera stuff.

  • @HayesAJones but thats what makes it so realistic!

  • @Tischkopp cloverfield is more of a disaster movie because of the way they filmed it and because you rarely see the monster and how he breaks shit and kills people.

  • I must admit... I never saw Lake Placid. Partly because I was told by some that it was a rip-off of Alligator! (John Sayles is D'man!) But I LOVED all the other films on this list! (Schlock can be as much, if not MORE fun as the serious horror!) One Question: Noticably absent is any reference to Zombie flics? Do you consider them a different sub-genre? Or are they not your cup-of-tea?

  • @dukes0916

I highly suggest "Lake Placid". It's more fun than anything else. Very tongue-in-cheek.

And no, zombies, along with most with most really human-like monsters, aren't my style. I'm not big on vampires or zombies (excluding Dracula) and only have a moderate interest in slashers.

  • @HayesAJones lolz i own the both lake placid and lake placid 2 dam they r good

  • king kong should be 2nd and jaws should be 1st.

  • GREMLINS AND JAWS <3 *.*

  • are killer clowns considered monsters

  • @bionicleking1000

Considering the ones I was referring to are from space, kill and drink people, and bends the rules of reality, then... yes.

  • @HayesAJones nice list. i love all these movies.

  • @HayesAJones fine with me

  • Haha Gremlins <3! =D

  • Right that's it Just. No. Little shop of horrors is not better than Jaws, or Alien, or king kong, no this is insane.

  • Wat about IT?

  • Three words: I HATE CLOWNS!!!...I really do ;(

  • i like the list but i think tremors could be better than little shop of horrors

  • Its your opinion and I respect that. Def don't agree with it, but that's why its your opinion, you have that right. Why can't some people get that? lol

  • OMG THANKS FOR SCARING ME!!!! CLOWNS ARE FREAKY!!! :(

  • i personally prefer an american werewolf in london to alligator but i still really enjoyed alligator =D

  • 5 and 4 freaked me out, hate clowns....

  • very bad list

  • @n0wi

If you're gonna say that, at least give some reasons.

  • @HayesAJones you put lake placid (which isnt even the best krokohorror) above alien and jaws. nothing more to say, even i could.

  • @n0wi

As I've said, I prefer camp and generally just having fun with a movie over suspense.I never claimed they were the best monster movies, just my favorites.

  • What about John Carpenter's "The Thing"? Surprised that's not on there..

  • @dave1105

It's a great movie, but it's a bit too sophisticated for my tastes. I prefer camp and cheek-in-tongue dialogue over suspense. And the monster itself, while cool, isn't very marketable, if you know what I mean. You don't really see enough of it to really like it.

  • @HayesAJones i don't know you have to like the stomach munching the arms thing, and at the end where it shoves its fingers in the guy's face

  • @HayesAJones What you do see makes you want to throw up however, not sure you could make a toy or statue of that

  • @dave1105 I cant wait for the remake, i hope its good.

  • of all those movies. tremors is my favorite

  • Critters is freakin awesome!!! Kudos man! Kudos!! AND Killer Klowns from outer space!!! God I thought I was the only human that knew about them!

  • how the FUCK did the alien got the worst place, it should be no. 1 !

  • O.o OMG freaky killer clowns-RUN FOR YOUR LIFE *runs away*

  • how is jaws or kong or the alien not 1

  • wtf? aliens only at #10? and fuck alligator, lake placid, critters, and killer clowns. here's their replacements: primeval, predator, an american werewolf in london, and dracula.

  • king kong is way to low on all these lists

  • dude you had alligator on here thats an automatic five stars!

  • what is the song?

  • @cooltyrannosaur1

    The theme from "Gremlins".

  • @cooltyrannosaur1 Are you serious? HOW THE FUCK DO YOU NOT KNOW GRRRRR

  • king kong near the bottom of the list and the 76 version included? oh dear...

  • The list was close to being a good one until you put Lake Placid on there, which I consider a comedy (even though it has a big monster in it). It was laughable movie.

  • @etthhhaaaannnnn

    Those are the best kind!

  • @HayesAJones Nah I enjoy it as a comedy just not a monster flick.

  • Ahhh, this music takes me back...

  • in space no one can hear you scream..... then why can we hear them scream? XD also never flush a dead (small and aquatic) animals down your toilet, i want to see tremors badly, i type things before the videos is done, Little Shop of Horrors (at least as i saw it) is more like a musical than horror (i love the Bill Murray part XD) love the song

  • Now I'm scared of clowns

  • glad to see tremors in there!

  • Nice choices!

  • Awesome dude !!

  • alien is actually british

  • Hum ... ¿ y el Hombre Lobo, Frankenstein, Drácula, La mancha voraz, Depredador, El hombre H ... y Martínez de Hoz y Domingo Cavallo ?

  • it goes from good to bad

  • on my opinion, killer Clowns are not monsters

    but yeah they are monsters-in-human-form

  • @DissonantMelodies

These Killer Klowns are actually a race of aliens who have stopped by Earth to gather food.

  • alien is actually British-the fourth one, alien resurrection was a USA film

  • tremors shouldnt even be on the list....

    gremlins is def. #1 tho

  • you forgot predator!

  • alien should be at #1

  • JAWS! :D :D

  • lol that music

  • Nice version of the Gremlin Rag!

  • cloverfield is a good movie

    <
