Ive noticed that the Monkey King seems to have some sort of magical power that lets him...well warp reality a bit lol. He goes super fast for no reason and seems to tap into the twisted logic of a warner brothers cartoon.

My point is that if he can just magically rush uncle and jackie into a spit to roast them, why would he even need to try to attack them physically before? Of course it is just a cartoon so im probably overthinking it.
