the way is still long and hard this is a revolution not a picnic, the old government and it's members are still goveerning, only some faces changed, the mentality is still the same
@abdelrahman1955 I agree. But when I am making my decision, I put a list of pros and cons, ask others their opinion, research the subject, think of the topic from my side, then the opposition. I know it takes me a long time to decide and act (maybe like Mubarak in this) but when I decide, I generally reach the right decision.

@sasa82072 I see no changes! Name calling is still the trend!! I do not stoop that low! I do not disrespect anyone. Obviously the balance is off! If you start calling names, this means you have no solid ground for your case.
I will stay under my blanket HONEY! and I demand that you come and protect me and my kids! This is my right that I demand Now. Since you offered to get me my right!
@NehadAShoukry You are the one who is afraid of chaos, that's understandable but it's not the revolution who is responsible for this and believe me going back home and waiting for change to "come" will only bring the worst results . . I know instability isn't everyone's cup of tea, but sometimes nations HAVE TO go through some instability to create a better future.
@midog2006 Good! this means that the Americans did it! Changed what we used to pride ourselves in. The Americans, they only think of themselves and their kids. What made us totally different is our pride in respecting our families (meaning parents and grand parent). Hurray! They invaded us as they had planed all along. Great Job!
@NehadAShoukry first off, my comment wasn't directed to you . . why do you take it as such ? Second, yes I do not know you but I had to read your comments to know who you are OK ? :)
@pianist007 My comment was right before your so I thought you were answering me.
And pardon me, you do not know me and you will not know how I think and how I like things to be done, I am a kind of paradox. I am like the military, I let my actions speak for me. Just to let you know.
@NehadAShoukry So you are a person of actions, Ok please go and put Mubarak and his gang on trial for us while we're here wasting time talking here. . THAT would be the best application for your belief . . and Nahed ? Now that you've read the army's latest announcement and its apology for what they called "unintended mistakes" do you still support what happened last night ? Do you still sing Go Army Go ? and what do you think of Libya ? Do you also support the "actions" of Gaddafi ?
@pianist007 Yes I still support what happened last night, even if they appologize.
As for Mubarak, he is out! with every meaning of the word! The real change that has to happen is in people's attitudes and actions, not only the system. People in the street, and each in his own place. Mubarak was a symbol, he is not the one who is acting now. To change an attitude and the way you were brought up takes longer than a month to change. Time will only be the judge of that.
@NehadAShoukry Mubarak is not a symbol, Mubarak is a SYSTEM that is still in operation and must be eliminated if this country is to see the faintest light of progress. Also, please understand why the need for change is urgent: the corrupt regime is still active and each day that passes with its people on the loose is an enormous threat to the process of reform, conspiracy will go on and the same rotten state of affair -which is their only environment where they can operate- will prevail.
@pianist007 I promise you I understand. The thing is you are fighting 30 years of bad habits, this will not happen in 1 day or 1 year. If reform is so urgent, then this means you want youth to take control of the matter. This is fine by me, but the person who takes control of things has to have had experience in certain areas.
Yes, reform is needed, but not in an instant. Do you not cross a red light? Do you not use your mobile while driving? Work up, not down is the right way to fix things.
Third, Egyptian are not like Gaddafi. He is a lunatic. Egyyptians by nature tend to prefer peace. What is happening is not peaceful. We need to be safe. Till today I lock my front door. I am scared to walk down the street when it is dark. I fear for my kids.
These people might mean well, but they are giving a chance to the outlaws to act freely. That is not peaceful.
@NehadAShoukry So you encourage the army to get rough with peaceful Egyptians ? People who were beaten last night were not thugs Nahed, they were people who had nothing to do but go back to the streets after all demands for real change haven't been met. Insecurity which we all hate is caused by the intentional withdrawal of internal ministry's forces to create a false relation between demanding for your rights and the loss of security, an educated person like you should realize that Nahed.
@pianist007 OK. Answer me this. How do you suggest that we get back on track and become safe again? If we do not respect the army and what they ask and what they are trying to do, them why ask for them to begin with? Egyptians are not used to freedom. This is exactly like an Egyptian movie. A great Egyptian movie, people have worked so hard on very touching, very strong, has a real story to tell, then the finishing is not as strong as the movie. A great movie. but unfortunately the ending is ---
@NehadAShoukry There are two obvious solutions to deal with the issue of "safety": The first one is the one the regime wants us to resort to : to cut a deal with the corrupt forces trading our "safety" for their "stability" which will take us back to the pre 25 Jan. period, and I have my reservations on calling this safety as encouraging a corrupt status quo -if not only an act of treason- is certainly embracing a time bomb that will explode anytime due to social injustice.
@NehadAShoukry The second option is REAL safety and I'm afraid it's not as instantaneous as the first one but at least it well grounded. This means doing away with corruption -including the one inside the police system- and building a fresh system that works for everybody. The country is undergoing now a "Teething" problem and we have to put up with many inconsistencies to reach what we want.
@NehadAShoukry I agree that mutual respect between the people/army/police is indispensable but when was the last time you heard of a police officer who dealt with us with any degree of respect ? Have you listened to Magdy Abo Amara of Behaira police security department talking about the police being "Asyad el Nas" ?
@pianist007 Don't misunderstand me, I am just stating my opinion. Mutual is the key word. Again bare in mind that this has been going on for a long time. Look at it the other way around. We have to make sure we are respected without disrespecting, name calling, undermining anyone, police officers included. That is what needs to be changed. Just as we have had frustrations for years, they have now. Remember how you felt before Jan 25, this is how they feel now. Let's not prejudge anyone,
@NehadAShoukry Do you think people didn't help the police when the police needed help ? People WERE the police on the night of 28 Jan and the days after that. People did what the police was supposed to do when it intentionally left Egypt with a frightening security gap and intentionally released criminals off prisons, I think Nehad it's about time police starts to think of helping people by being more humane and decent to them.
@pianist007 This is what I mean. We are supposed to start anew era, with new mind sets. You are talking about Habib El Adly, I am talking about Wagdy. I listened to him the other day. My info about Wagdy is that he was not pro the previous regime. Did you ever think of giving him a chance. Everybody has to change . No preset minds.
@pianist007 Here is a suggestion, instead of Tahrir square why doesn't everyone, help the police officers, who are now hated, disrespected, and targeted (let me highlight that this is a first in the world as well). Why don't we help them, pay them the respect they deserve, help them instead of helping the thugs kill, steal, kidnap women and children with no reprucussions. They already know this. My supervisor at work told me once, how do you expect change if you don't give the chance for proof?
And in my opinion, if you do not want to be disrespected, you do not disrespect others. That is what I was tought in my school (Armenian Catholic Sister's School) here in Egypt.
Second of all, I don't know why, but I distrust Nawara from the moment I saw her on TV saying that the government forgot that you can use Proxi and that is when they cut the net altogether.
How about the way people were attacked and arrested when the WTC was hit by Osama Ben Laden in 9/11. Did they have any right to do that? You were arrested just because you were Muslim.
Just for your infor, the FBI is not only part of the Judiciary system, they have UPDATED files on each and every single person in the US. They know when and where to get you.
