This is the only thing I know lol

  • @rayruiz12345 Do you know your basic chords?

  • It feels like i learned something! Because I DID!!! :D

  • it must be all that bieber, brain rot i tell you

  • i still cant get it! frusturated. . . .

  • Thanks you, your videos are the best I've seen!

  • Thanks alot im just starting on guitar and this video helped out alot

  • great work

  • Um, I am the only one that doesn't understand his english ( i'm used to american english ..well....)

  • I understand this now that I found that it is the pattern of notes not being played

that makes it a Major scale. Or "Intervals" in between the scale notes. Each fret being a half step. The interval of (FULL FULL 1/2 FULL FULL FULL 1/2) step up in tone gives you this pattern. No matter where you start on the fretboard. Count it up starting from the low G for this G Major scale.

I sure wish I knew that along time ago!!!

Thanks your video made it clear.

  • nice

  • Love this.

  • I've got a question. I saw alot of videos with another scale but they told me its a major scale...but your scale looks diffrent to the other ones...why?

Some of them has 4 patterns/boxes for on scale...

  • nice

  • Great video. The scale diagrams are very nice. I just posted a video on learning major scales too. We have very different teaching methods. Anyway, good job. *Liked*

  • OMG THANK YOU I LOOKED AT A DOZEN VIDS AND NONE OF THEM GAVE HELP FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE JUST LEARNING SCALES BUT YOURS MAKES SENSE

    THANK YOU THANK YOU

  • Thank you so much! This was easier to understand than any other videos i've watched. Most just tell you, and show you as they play, but, you can't see finger placement. This shows you exactly where to place your fingers. You're awesome!

  • Is there a reason you are starting with the GMajor vs. Cmajor in which the majority of people teach?

  • I don't know how long you have been on youtube providing these guitar lessons, but in my opinon you are the best I have found. I am a beginer and have been seaching for a very good instructor with results until I found this site. I take lessions and have been for awhile, but you surpass him in your instruction. You are brief, concise, to the point and very understandable. If there is anyone that needs such, believe me check this man out. I am sure you will agree he is the best.. Thanks

  • thanks alot :-)

  • Awesome lesson thanks!

  • awesome mate was wanting to learn how play scales noboby has the time and patience cheers buddy

  • Pretty sure this was put up in the last few minutes and I just wanted to thank you. Exactly what I was looking for. Will go check out your site now. Keep it up. Thanks.
