  • IP MAN!

  • nice fighting!

  • I wonder why all these people use the shittiest examples of each style to make theirs seem better than everyone else? That kid is not a real kickboxer. Horrible technique he seemed more like a novice than anything else. He was not putting his hands together with his legs. No clinch work. Hesitation all over the place very poor example of a kickboxer. The video shouldn't have been labeled as the title indicated. It should of been this guy vs. that guy. That would a been a fairer representation.

  • @dolboyeb93 truth

  • if you guys dont get why that black guy is swing his arm around so much its because wing chun is both attack and defence if you watch carefully he tries to block everyhit and strike at the same time...its very fast

  • 0:48 good kick

  • that kid as amazing potential haha i like lil ip man

  • Try to use wing chun with gloves is like you try to turn a steak in the tigaie with a glass....

  • which one is the kickboxer? lmfao...both look like shit

  • @dolboyeb93 both can kick ur ass too

  • Dont sacrifice power for speed i rather hit them once and knock them out and go home

  • all they teach in sing chun is chain punching and front kicks. side step them and fights over.

  • @egresham1743 or just plant and throw a hook seeing as they just stand infront of you with their chins up and their hands away from their face

  • @prebirth91 ummm... dont you think wing chun practitioners know that their chins are up and hands away? There is a reason. And no one in this video was using wing chun.

  • @Shishaismelife Thank god someone said it.

  • @prebirth91 i have taken wing chun i really think it blows but i was talking about the fool in the video not all wing chun.

  • @prebirth91 The reason the hands are kept at such a distance from the face is so that the opponent has more distance to get through before he can plant one on you. I do wing chun and used to box, and within the first few weeks you realise that Wing Chun or any Kung Fu is designed to defend from the average right/left hooks/jabs that you'd get off some arsehole that doesn't know what he's doing.

  • @egresham1743 i understand your teacher was really bad at teaching or you have never actually attended a wing chun class. There are side stepping and foot work in wing chun and no side stepping will not always work. against that guy up there in the video anything would work lol

  • @egresham1743 They teach way more than that in wing chun. You obviously don't know what the hell your talking about.

  • they both did good

  • What wing chun? Movie isn't reality, give some leg kick and he will goin down!!

  • that's not the real wing chun...

  • both guys were good, but I would not recommend wing chun in the ring....it is self defense not a sport and self defense is for the street...that is why wing chun was made for...

  • @MrSavoro2 if you cannot test it in a sparring, it means you will not be able to use it on the street. simple, proven many times

  • @marekmaxpabianice you are partially right. I use my wing chun in boxing all the time. And its always useful. The gloves in hands make a huge difference for wingchun open hand techniques. So no it doesn't mean that you cant use something while sparring, it wont be useful in a street fight.

  • Dude... watch this video... a real kick boxer would finish it in a few seconds...

    watch?v=TH0cjMNVbfs&feature=related

  • @marekmaxpabianice haha no ur stuped

  • @marekmaxpabianice Have you thought that can do a real master of wing chun?

  • @mawsterin I trianed with some wing chun guys and I saw a lot of 'masters' sparring and it is not hard to tell how effective it is comparing to bjj/kickboxing etc; you think it is effective as you use deadly punches etc... well... you cannot practice these things with gloves so it is useless, you do not know how an opponent will react. that is why e.g. judo was created, they got rid of all 'deadly' things from jj and created AN EFFECTIVE ma that will kick your ass in a few sec

  • @marekmaxpabianice

the wing chun guy in that video sucks so you can't compare.. It's the fighter that makes the difference, not the style... you're lame

  • @halonick you are wrong, style IS very important, it has been proven so many times... come on... take a judo guy and a kickboxer, take a shotokan master and a thaiboxer... come on people...

  • @marekmaxpabianice yeah style has it's uses but it's also been proven that u should not get stuck in one style or the idea of styles and free ur mind. Sometimes the most dangerous opponent is the unpredictable fighter who uses no style.

  • @kungfuy123 no style is a style. it is ones own style. A fighter has strong strikes and weak strikes. They will use the same moves no matter how many moves they can do. There is always a limitation to what they know. But you are right you can call a no style person a fighter and unfortunately not a martial artists. If someone is doing wingchun he SHOULD be doing wing chun if he is mixing up he is just creating his own martial art. Misleading thumbnail

  • @marekmaxpabianice

The reason why I said it's the fighter that makes the difference and not the style is because the fighter must ultimately make use of his ability to adapt to whatever his martial art is. Every fighting style has it's good and bad points, if you feel that certain styles are 'inferior' to others, then you can combine them into one and make it your own. All this was part of Bruce Lee's philosophy, be formless, his style was to have no style.

  • actually wing chun is great in a street fight against thugs but against a trained opponenet in the mma it'll be hard. The kick boxer was hardly kicking, wish he was a muay thai fighter instead, but having said that it was a great fight.

  • This was a great fight! Just some more power training for the WC guy and a little footwork and he would have it all. He does show great potential and I would like to see more of his videos.

    Greetings from Balkan.

  • man the wing chun guys forward presure must be hell to deal with.

i love the man up stand up tournaments. for the most part they where controlled.

i really love how when he backed him up against the ropes he had the chance to do his trapping and blast him.

how long has he been training for?

  • com on dude, where is that kick to the groin, finger in the eye, knuckle to troat?

If you want to test wing chun or any self-defence art, do it right.

  • @gusjeazer It's a fucking sparring match. Are you retarded?

  • Wing Chun..slapping contest

  • He have to learn the bong jerk

  • kant top donnie yen

  • Lol not being picked on like bullying, but folks thinking that you can't win a fight knowing martial arts, there wrong most of the fights or challenges i have had i have won using wing chun,or hapkido because i am a good martial artist, and i was only a white belt at the time.

  • Wing chun does work in a real fight, folks get it wrong when they think wing chun is a sport,it's not a sport and wing chun can be used in a fight because it focuses on forward combat, instead of brute force which street fighters lack,i have been into real fights being picked on for knowing martial arts,And those non fighting wanna be street fighters does not have a match against wing chun,Sifurahsun is a very great sifu and he deserves respect and honor.

  • And this is why wingchun isn't that great in a REAL street fight. Notice how 1 dozen baby punches doesn't dominate a full kick to your side...

  • The wing chun guy did very well.

  • @dejordo1 What part? where he got punched repeatedly? Or where he got kicked repeatedly?

  • @michaelhernsin The part when he has full control.

  • Lamest thing I've seen all day

  • How did he not win? Oo

He had so much dominance over his opponent.

  • the "kickboxer" looks like he has a taekwondo background from the way he chambers his kicks, also the pants are a bit of a giveaway

  • awesome job. he stayed composed the whole time and seemed to be working his game clean. The first 45 second skill comparison was overwhelming for that kick boxer. He was out classed.

  • Great progress. Keep it up!

  • this is good because i actually see some wing chun elements in it

  • @chronoDennis for a real fight its very much, amazingly enough. Never seen Wing Chun this way and i like it. He should have won.. even thou the Kickboxer noticed somewhat to the end that he is allowed to Kick.

( and none of them seem to have any idea of takedowns or ground 1:11 :) )

  • Great showing for first time! He does have great potential, can't wait to see more of him in the future.

  • thats y i love JKD ..im a big wing chun enthusiast but along with a vertical punch along with my techniques of Wing chun punches and boxxing like bruce lee i've noticed the advantage to the vertical punch rather than conventinal boxing and even being well aware of my center line ..i need to train wing chun again get back up 2 snuff an continue ..along with continueing to train MMA
