Seems like a bug at all Dave Grusin' videos.. Such a shame, but no people can dislike real music like this. From an true artist like Dave. such a genius..
@michiganac The dislikes are all little girls and boys between the ages of 6 - 19. Sorry if this isn't Justin Beiber but some people enjoy good taste in music, not preadolescence rubbish.
AM I wrong, or is it the same music as used for the 90'es song "Turn On, Tune In And Cop Out"? I think that's the title, but don't remember the artist at the moment... I find it very similar.. :-)
But still, very nice music! And thanks for listening!
Besides Grusin's incredible keyboard work, his bassist is remarkable. You really need to listen to his stuff if you have a single inch of musical ear.
@Zona57Bob Hi! i think you have a very good musical ear...This bassist can be Louis Johnson from "the brothers Johnsons". He worked from him on many songs. if you have a moment, enjoy with his music. its brilliant! (sorry for my english, but i'm from the basque country, jejej)
Nice groove! This and several other Dave Grusin songs (Mountain Dance, Friends and Strangers) used to get a lot of air time on CD 101.9 in the 90's. WQCD New York, 1988-2008... :-(
I learnt Mr, Grusin by Sadao Watanabe's album which Dave cooperated him in making throughout. My most favorite number in this album, and recording was superb as well.
"Mountain Dance" is one of my all-time favorites from Dave Grusin. What a pianist! From "The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter" ( late '60's)to now, this prolific composer/musician is a gift !
my dad had the album this song was featured on...came out back in the early 80's. it was the same album with Dave Grusin's "Friends and Strangers" cover and a song i liked called "Rag bag"
Would you happen to have a song called Anthem Nationale. It is in the album Out Of the Shadow. Another good one from Grusin. Lost the CD a few years ago. Dying to find it on the web.
OMG, I remember this song from way back; I used to hear it in ads for certain TV and radio stations...thanks for posting!! I am definitely adding this to my play list

@mrdizzee04 I'll admit, I'm a bit surprised too. Sometimes I like music alone, doesn't need no singers, the instruments show the lyrics.
