Very bad beginning. Your band lacks the ability to stay in tempo. Tuning was absolutely terrible. Id suggest you slow down and try to line up the parts. This is ok, but i would suggest that your band work on tuning and temp before taking something like this to a contest.
no offence that was pretty bad. My wind ens. is performing it in a few weeks and we sound alot better. i play oboe and the only good part was the oboe solo. Your bands tone was decent and at times you were out of tune. Also, frank ticheli visited our school to perform with us. The trumpet solo was wrong, you need to double tounge the entrances.
actually, a good player's double tonguing sound almost identical to single tonguing. therefore it does not matter whether the entrance was double or single tongued all that matters it that the entrance is in time and sounds good. the problem here was not that they single tongued but that the entrance was was about just slightly early. and got a little late for a fraction of a second.

i think ur cand lacked the dynamic power really nessesarry to make thus song work
my middle school band was going to place this last yaer and their what ? in seventh and eight grade versus 11 and 12 graders cmon!

I think it sounds fine. Our marching band show this year is an arrangement of this, and two movements from Colours by Roger Cichy.
