  • when tile is on the wall do you have to put grout over the tile????

  • the beads of glue are visible through glass tiles. not an ideal product for clear glass tiles.

  • This product states that it will work on all types of ceramic tile and stone, NOT! Liquid Nails is still much cheaper! Stupidmat works out to about $2.50 per square ft., that's pretty expensive to watch my tiles fall and break on the counter! The idea would have been great if it worked and was cheaper! Could be used instead to make tile post-it notes for Fred Flinstone."

  • This stuff is terrible. I used it to put up my backsplash consisting of mosaic tiles w/ open mesh. Followed the instructions to the letter, and within 2 weeks I had entire sections of tile falling off.

  • this product sucks

  • @retsubuster tell me what sucks about... so i know if i should buy it or not.

  • You would do just as well to have some tubes of silicone or liquid nails on hand... You'd get a better bond and save money, too... This seems a bit gimmicky and not for great longevity... This is coming from an industry professional..

  • Is there a maximum tile size for this product? i.e. 10" x 14" And, is it suitable for tumbled stone?

  • can I used in the bathroom walls?

  • can you use this with glass tile mosaics?

  • I CANNOT WAIT TO USE THIS PRODUCT!!! i'm soo excited to do my first tiling project! any tips I could use? and, for a countertop- do you recommend a water seal type product after grouting?

  • good product, a little on the expensive side

  • *not suitable for floor tile installation

  • this looks so cool!

  • "They're not going anywhere" turns around and they all fall off. lol.... I was just waiting for him to turn around and yell at all the people in the background to "SHUT UP" I actually want to try this product... see if it really works, looks like it would. I sense a weekend project comming up.

  • Does this work on floor tiling?Anyone know?

  • Thanks for the good question but the short answer is no. SimpleMat can be used on countertops, backsplashes and walls, as well as for craft and decorative projects - but not on floors.
