Yes, it was a sad day... but for season 4 they introduced a Viper GTS to be the new Defender. They added hovercraft mode. Search for Viper 4x01 the return to watch the season 4 episode 1.

@Juno83 meh the cuda was good in it's day but it's obsolete tech and not worth the money restoring. the viper however is a different story, especially within the storyline of the show since in the show it was like knight rider probably a few million dollar weapon car so they'd have to work a long time to rebuild the defender
