its is acknowledge tath bodhidarma did not bring martial arts to china and it was develoed independently. the indians developed their own fighting style based of theri understanding body mechanics.
Lots and lots of foriegners are getting trained in kalarippayattu now , recognising it as teh mother of all asian martial arts ( especially kungfu and karate)... This is awsome
Kalarippayattu Can't be called as kick boxing type, because it do have forms ( like katas in karate ) and also this inclues lots of locks, grappling and even murma applications ( attacks to vital points of body) .

shouldnt the uk chow family representive dedicate his life to the practise chow gar, i just think this is a little disresectful to chow ah nam and the ip family.
what on earth are you blabbering about. You obviously have no clue about the true ethos of martial arts, namely to expand and learn. Do you really think a teacher with the international respect Sifu Paul Whitrod has would engage in anything that would disrespect his own martial lineage? get a grip
Nice moves..I have also checked out your website kalarippayatt co uk..it is very informative..i will try to come to your school in stratford to see this art in person...please post more vids.

It's nice to see that the art is being preserved rather than becoming extinct. Your'e right Kalarippayatt has many influences on Kung Fu and Karate.
