  • Julie Andrews played my part LMAO!, I couldn't imagine Margo being able to sing like Julie Andrews.

  • I think that paper boy must've been looking at Felicity Kendle when he emptied the contents of his sack through the Ledbetter's letterbox!

  • "margot said.. if you need pigs, you jolly well have pigs.."

  • Great Stuff

  • Felicity Kendell is a delight they all are. Only Ms Kendell can carry that look and make it look haute couture.

  • Interestingly enough Julie Andrews played MY role in the film.

  • margo seems like the ideal wife to empress family and collegues but not the sort of wife u would wanna live with lol

  • Margo sort of reminds me of Humphrey.

  • Felicity Kendall is adorable! Piglet of the month indeed.

  • @blackiemittens i just wanna pick up felicity and cuddle her lol

  • "I do find running in the morning so vulgar."

"Lot of fresh air about at this time of day, isn't there?

"Stop looking so damned cheerful....looking so damned healthy."

I love the lines they gave Paul...not to mention his delivery.

  • Love how the homemade wine made everybody react. Damn hilarious!!!

  • have a look at an oven ready chicken and you will notice the tail end of a chicken is shaped like a flattened nose - this is the parson's nose - why it should anything to do with a member of the clergy is a mystery!

  • great. thanks! I've never seen an oven ready chicken since I'm a vegetarian and before I 'converted' I never cooked a whole chicken. lol!

  • what is creosote? and what is 'the parson's nose'?

  • The Creosote Barbara's talking about is oil that is made from coal tar and used as a wood preservative, like varnish. There is alos wood tar creosote that can be used as a strong antiseptic I believe.

As for the Parson's Nose, later Barbara

(8:56) says that the chicken has creosote all over his bum, so I can only assume it means that!!

  • Thanks! As far as the parson's nose.. I thought one of them said that a chicken walked around the coop and got creosote all over his 'parson's nose'? But if it was his bum, that means the chicken backed around the coop! I'm confused. :)

  • tar creosote , if you have ever smelled a burning telephone pole then you have smelled creosote...we used a wood stove when I was a child, for heat and accidentally burned some, it is dangerous to inhale.,..
