People who do this Blasphemy challenge have misinterpreted Mark 3:29. this unforgivable sin isn't a one time deal, it is a continuous rejection of his power and love. refusing to accept his gift once doesn't mean that if you change your mind in the future you can't accept his gift then. If you look at those who denies 'this supposely holy spirit" and say they are going to hell (if such a place exist), then hell is going to be a lot better than heaven.
But for heaven and hell to exist, you need to prove there is an omniscient and omnipowerful being that created the whole universe, then choose a portion of a species on a planet lost in one of the arm of a galaxy, to make it it's "chosen people" and that the rest will burn.

Laura, based upon what you have put forth about the nature of God (from what I have so far heard), I would deny the Holy Spirit too. In fact I have had very valid reasons in the past for becoming an Athiest. However, I chose to call most of these religious criminal minds out on the bible. In the end, I discovered an entirely different nature of God. I think people give up before a break through and never find what they seek. I just ask to keep an open mind. You seem like a very nice person.
I'm glad evolution gave us marijuana. It provides such a wonderful enhancement to the mirth and laughter I get from the bible bashers. I think it's awesome to have atheists and religious people living together in harmony. My personal belief is that God is everything and everyone, and one-ness is infinite possibilities. So the more different everyone is, the more we're all one, and the more dynamic we become.

They are security blankets for adults who are weak minded.
Technically, blaspheming the Holy Spirit isn't to deny it but to say that the miracles it (supposedly) effects are owing to the power of an unclean or evil spirit. Mark 3 is the story where that whole "blasphemy against the Spirit" thing comes from.

People who do this Blasphemy challenge have misinterpreted Mark 3:29. this unforgivable sin isn't a one time deal, it is a continuous rejection of his power and love. refusing to accept his gift once doesn't mean that if you change your mind in the future you can't accept his gift then. Look at the life of Paul the Apostle, he not only blasphemed the holy spirit, but he enjoyed KILLING christians. If God showed his mercy on Paul then I have no doubt that can show his mercy and love torwards you

Then, when we do the research and realize that religion is all just a bunch of man made BS and we trry and share it w/ the "christians" we know, they start using circular logic and fear trying to change our minds. When we try and use rational logic, they totally shut that out and eventually run away. It gets frustrating talking to the brainwashed!

If you look at those who denies 'this supposely holy spirit" and say they are going to hell (if such a place exist), then hell is going to be a lot better than heaven.
But for heaven and hell to exist, you need to prove there is an omniscient and omnipowerful being that created the whole universe, then choose a portion of a species on a planet lost in one of the arm of a galaxy, to make it it's "chosen people" and that the rest will burn.
Otherwise it's all just a myth to control people.

The typing area here is inadequate to define that.
Rationally and logically:
I think most people can agree on, that they self-goodness stinks. LOGICALLY it follows, that goodnes has to come from outside, which for the Christian is The Holy Spirit - the spokesman of Jesus.

It is a Christian value not to judge - though it historically has been undervalued. No Christian should judge anybody for not recognizing The Holy Spirit for what he is. It is not an unpardonable sin.
Comming to ration and facts, there is no conflict here at all. We value logic and science as any others. Besides that I must say that for some one who value ration, you words is backed up by very littly argument.

Maybe you do not, as I do, recognize it as the presence of Jesus, but I am sure you can recognize it.
It is the feeling in your heart when you:

- Feel truly grateful for something.

Laura, based upon what you have put forth about the nature of God (from what I have so far heard), I would deny the Holy Spirit too. In fact I have had very valid reasons in the past for becoming an Athiest. However, I chose to call most of these religious criminal minds out on the bible. In the end, I discovered an entirely different nature of God. I think people give up before a break through and never find what they seek. I just ask to keep an open mind. In this Blasphemy Challenge it is clear that the ones taking part in the challenge have no idea what it is to deny the Holy spirit.
The reason this sin cannot be forgiven is because it is an on-going denial of Jesus Christ who is the author of salvation.
So if you deny Jesus Christ as Saviour, and Lord, and leave this world on judgement day, you will be cast into the lake of fire.

Technically, blaspheming the Holy Spirit isn't to deny it but to say that the miracles it (supposedly) effects are owing to the power of an unclean or evil spirit. Mark 3 is the story where that whole "blasphemy against the Spirit" thing comes from.
I say this only because The God Who Wasn't There with its challenge is spreading a misrepresentation of the other side on that point. For me, that hurts the credibility of the documentary, which I very much wanted to like.

the reason God said to stone people was because of mulitple reasons .
Crime , hatred to one another , turning from Him , etc .
yes , He loves us .
He'll do ANYTHING for us to have a relationship with Him .
and as for the Islam and Christianity , that wasn't God that does that , it's the people .

Is there something like spirits around, and one (or several) of them are holy.
If you trying to say something you think is true. Then you should have a reasonably clear idea about these things.

Blasphamey -- To speak fasely against
Holy -- Pure, Sacred, Very Good
Spirit -- The Main Priciple, Quality or Influence.
Some biblical traslations are Spirit of Truth.
So when you deny the Holy spirit! you are saying I don't believe in the truth. The Holy spirit isn't a being or a ghost. It's just the Truth! which is only available if you believe that Jesus is who he claimed to be. God.
