I don't do it myself but I don't see the problem. Everyone has a choice whether to jump and everyone knows the risks when they choose to... people have been high diving as a sport for centuries, its not a new thing, just people looking for an adrenline hit. I surf and ride mountain bikes for my fun and personally choose not to jump off cliffs but each to their own. Just make sure the landing area is deep enough :)
