edit in CAS doesn't work, but if you have generations, all you do is the testingcheatsenabled true cheat, then shift click on a sim, and choose "edit in CAS" hopes this helps!

Another quick tip I'd like to add (too bad I'm lousy with video editors or I'd make my own vid) is that after entering testingcheatsenabled true, you can use Make All Happy and then Make Needs to Static to make your Sims permanently satisfied (until, of course, you exit the game). You shouldn't do this while the game is paused, as in my experience it doesn't give you the positive Moodlets associated with maxed out Needs.
@justmalinda If you're like making movies with your Sims (or you just enjoy torturing them), you can adjust individual needs on a sliding scale. This needs to be done while Needs are still Dynamic, but after setting the Needs where you want them just change to Static and that's where it can be interesting. For example, if you're making a vid about a narcoleptic, drain their Energy bar to red, set to Static, and enjoy watching them pass out all over the place.
@xSpiritedSpursx testingcheatsenabled should be typed with no spaces between the individual words, followed by a space and then the word true. It has to be done exactly this way:

@xSpiritedSpursx The game will pause when you bring up the cheat prompt. You should see a dim gray bar at the top of the screen as well. You may have to click it before you begin typing. I've never pressed the Windows Key when bringing up the cheat prompt, only shift + ctrl + c. I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but try it without the Windows Key if you still can't access the prompt.

Instead, after entering the code you have to hold the shift key and click on your active Sim's mailbox (it does not work if you are on other lots). This will bring up a menu with Make Friends, Make All Happy, Make Needs Static, and more.
@justmalinda There are other options available as well by clicking other items/Sims while holding shift, however many only allow you delete the item (this does make cleaning up after lazy/busy Sims a lot faster, though!). When clicking other Sims, it allows you to Trigger Age Transition, Add to Active Household, and something else I think. When clicking on your active Sim, it lets you Select Career, Traits, etc.
@davewoodchuck3 , go to buy mode, (sort by room), study, and click on the hobbie and skills thing. A guitar will be in the category. They are 600 simoleans.

@ccboyluvr buy a dresser and place it in your house. then, when playing, click plan outfit. this will bring you back to the closet to let you re pick all the outfits.

The "set career" Doesn't work! D: Did it work for anyone else??

@lovegab911 The set career works for on one. There's an alternative click shift and left click your mouse on your mailbox and choose you career from there but make sure you've added the cheat "testingcheatsenabled on" in your main menu and then click the family!(=

@lovegab911 yea it worked 4 me but if you want a high career job you have to gain your skills fast coz uva wise you get fired.. like i set 1 of my sims as a head teacher in school and she need to be mastered at charisma, logic and giving lectures and i tried getting her skills really high but she got fired before i did it :L x

duude? You need to write the cheats down exactly like tey are, or people can't use them. You can't write: moveobjects on. when it really is moveObjects on, ot testingcheatsenabled true when it's testingCheatsenabled true! Focus on the BIG letters!

@ccboyluvr buy a dresser and place it in your house. then, when playing, click plan outfit. this will bring you back to the closet to let you re pick all the outfits.

@ccboyluvr buy a dresser and then go out of buy mode back into live mode and choose the sim you want to change the clothes and click on it and click plan outfit and you have to not be wearing a uniform to do this. then change the clothes the way you want them

The Shaazam one may not work, but I found an alternative for you guys.
Go to the main menu, there open the cheat box and type testingcheatsenabled true
after that, load your game, then go to the lifetime rewards tab. hold down control and press on top or to the left of the treasure chest, but stay in the shaded box. 500 for each click!
