Nádherný auto! A pěkně udělané video ;) Moc po tomto autě toužím, snad si někdy udělám radost ;) Je vidět že se o to řádně staráš, tak to má být ;) Přeji hodně ujetých kilometrů ;)
a weird horrible nice crap car i dont know what to think of it, look where the stereo is, they gave this car no thought its replusive makes a Rover 800 look spectacular compared, well it was really groundbreaking for its time, the 827 fastback was hot
@2quundar actually i drive a Mercedes Benz W124 (e-class) 3.0L straight six. Compared to this, well compared to alot. Oh wait i cant compare because its in a league of its own!!
I do like citroen, although I am not a fan of French cars in particular. I'm a cabbie and use a Peugeot 406 HDI 110 and on the whole it's even surprised me, considering it has the original engine and I think, the original gearbox and has done 388000 miles and starts first time every time. Most of the cab firm I work for use 406s, so they can't be that bad.
I used to have one of these we used to load it up with camping and head down to st tropez camping and even though it was loaded it performed still fantasic, what a car, theres nothing to match it these days what ever anyone says.
Love it. Back in 1985 my Dad was thinking of buying a CX GTi Turbo from new and I tried so hard to get hom to do it but he bought a Ford Granada instead! Sad!
As for the reliability, anyone who says that French cars are crappy certainly doesn't have much experience with them. However I wouldn't buy a Renault.
except this CX,we also have a Clio second gen and a Megane pre-facelift model with dCi engine and I cant really say anything bad about them in terms of reliability
and the cost of my CX? really not much, bought it from a guy who had few of them, for cca 1100 euro
I cant frankly say that the CX is a reliable car...It would disintegrate without serious maintenance, especially clutch and all of running gear are voulnerable, but surprisingly,no problems with the hydraulics whatsoever
Our first car was Oltcit. We had it for 12 years and it didn't break down once but it had one major flaw - it was all rust because the metal parts and body were not zinced. Our second car has been Škoda Felicia. It's almost 10 years old now but in terms of reliability, there have only been 2 small problems, nothing too expensive. But the body looks like it just rolled out of factory - no rust at all. Its silver paint paint is also still good-looking. We're going to get rid of it as long as it's
in a good shape. My father has got Opel Zafira now which is, for me, sleepingly boring, good for transporting dormitory tho. We're looking for a good replacement of Felicia for me and my mother and after taking lots of models to test drive, our car of choice is Citroen C4. Problem is that it disappeared from the shops these days because they're awaiting a newer version which is rumoured to be more expensive and therefore a big no-go for us.
It's still supposed to replace only Felicia but other less expensive cars tested (like newIbiza, C3, Fiesta, Polo, Fabia) were too small, even smaller than the old car. Furthermore we would like to something a little bigger than Felicia.
I used to have an Oltcit too :-) the "luxurious" one, Club 11 RL,that,my friend, was the worst car Ive ever owned, had it for about a half a year, kept breaking down all the time despite having 40 000 km on the clock and being kept in a garage all its life by my grandpa:-) and the car itself was even worse...my dad used to have a Felicia too,two of them in fact, each of them for no more than a year...it is a good car,but a bit medieval in its concept, being based od a Favorit which is a terrible car
From what I remember our Oltcit was from a limited edition made in France. Most of them were made in Romania. That could explain it partially. At corners, Felicia floats like a boat but I hear much more people having reliability issues with Fabia and my friend who owns a car service confirmed that.
If the new version of C4 costs too much we'll probably choose between new Fabia Combi(I hope its more durable than the old one) and Hyundai Accent(Personally I hate it but my mother's opinion is different). But still, C4 is awesome. It's what depened my interest in Cintroen as such.
@sspope Saying that French cars are crappy is being a bit ignorat. It is told indeed that hydroneumatic suspension has expensive mainteinance, but it is a complex system. There are other cars such as Renault 4 or Citroen ZX which are almost indestructible.
Citroen, for example, is one of the biggest contributor to the innovation in automotive. If french cars were so bad, Renault, Peugeot and Citroen would have never survived as three of the best in the world.
@sspope I agree, I've owned several PSA group products and they've all been reliable and comfortable, however all German made products Ive owned have been nightmares, terribly overrated and expensive pieces of crap... I agree about Renaults though, their later cars seem to be riddled with faults waiting to happen!
Thanks.I have to say that I´ve owned this car for nearly a year now, and apart from the snapped old alternator belt (there are four belts in total),I haven´t had any problems with it at all...of course, thorough maintenence had to take place after I bought it,but for me,it is surprisingly reliable, fuel consumption is not too bad either and hydraulics are as reliable as a wood burning stove, which is the last thing I expected :-)I am planning to keep this car a bit longer than I previsously thought
somebody added a text comment about two tone wheels, and I inadvertantly deleted the comment, but I will reply anyway:
Two tone cloloured wheels are not original, guy who I bought the wheels from had them rebrushed, and then he thought of very nice combination with those like black spokes. There are two sets of wheels like this here,in Czech Rep,one of them is mine...and I got them for a very reasonable prize :-)
Ahoj...chtěl bych se zeptat kdes ho koupil a za kolik protože tohle opravdu víjimečné auto....díky za odpověď
