I have nothing against Laurence Harvey. I don't think he's a good actor. I realize that for most people it's good enough to see someone playing a character as extreme as Martin and allow the depravity of his character to convince us of the actor's versatility.
Anybody can look stupid for a camera. The swinging of the crowbar looked too casual, and in the end they feed us the "it was only a dream" ending to justify the shoddy content.
