  • I'ma make shoes with Flapjack on em XD

  • does anyone know if there are any instructions on how to make the shoes from grocery bags at 2:06?

  • I've seen youtube videos of women in Africa making little purses our of strips of old plastic grocery bags and crocheting it together like yarn. You can probably get a pair of your shoes to measure and make a pattern and use the same technique.

  • My friend found a cool pair of chucks at a TJ MAXX store. black and red Houndstooth pattern...

I WANT A PAIR! (I think i wanna try that bleach pen idea... really cool. ive got an old pair of chucks... and i bet i wont grow out of them...)

  • I literally found a pair there too. They just let me take them home and I washed them. But I have an old torn pair that I'll probably revamp. They're not destroyed, they were just loved too much. lol

  • old shoes are awesome pots for plants as well and they look really neat too! Succulents are the best plants to put in them they can handle anything.

  • does anyone know how to make shoes??? just any kind of shoes

    thx

  • lol at 2:57

  • i saw sum1 who put studs in their chucks... i think that worked a bit better than the bleach lolz... the safety pins where kinda cool tho... but i still love u threadbanger <3

  • i really want to learn how to weave or knot old plastic bags into shoes or a cool bag or something really badly!

  • i really love threadbanger but i'm sorry for that pair of chucks:( not so good

    threadbanger still kicks ass:D

  • When I'm done with my shoes I'll be sure to send you guys a picture!

  • I didnt have a bleach pen. I color my shoes with pen ink and nail polish. I take ink tube out of the pen and take off the metal tip from the tube off. I put it to me mouth (the side that didn't have the metal tip) and blow.A lot of ink comes out. Get a brush, and brush that on the white rubber part of the shoe. This much ink, seeps in more and doesnt wash out as easily. Then I cover the coat with nai polish of the same color.

  • I had rainbow shoes like that for a while. I also put studs all over the canvas shoes. The ink slowly washed off. I did it over with pens. Then i did it over that with Sharpies. Then with nail polish. I also color the canvas part with nail polish, into this crazy scriblly tie-dye. And I colored the studs with nail polish so they'd be multi colored. Of course my mom didn't like this and washed my shoes in BLEACH or something special cause it washed off about 90% of work on the rubbery white part.

  • Luckily the rest remains. The nail polish on the canvas part, as well as the nail polish on the studs. I just have to redo the color on the white part. I heard of this "leather dye" and I think I'll use that, as the LAST layer. So pen, sharpie, nail polish, then leather dye.

  • That's terrifying. I better watch out for MY mom... >_>

  • LMAO yeah. I colored them again, but i still need the leather dye, though its technically not leather, its rubber.

If you wash your shoes (cause they DO get stinky, lol) hand wash them, but not with bleach.

spray lysol onthe inside for stink and germs.

  • i like the andrew way better
