Well, I meant more in terms of groups that have had significant disadvantages in the past; they would've never gotten where they have today in terms of equality without efforts of such organisations, and sadly, their support is still needed today.... Obviously by these I don't mean radicals that demand so-called 'rights' over and above other groups... That would just be the cycle of racism playing out all over again.

Unfortunately circumstances have made it so, that in the past such organizations were necessary in order to bring in any sort of social equality between races, specifically in terms of employment. As long as they are not in the business of promoting hatred towards other races/groups, and focused solely on the positive betterment of their own, then their existence shouldn't be an issue. Hell, such organizations are still vital in some parts of the world, within the US even. Racism is not dead.
