he probily wouldent want you to feel bad ofr him he should be treated like a normal person not famed not mean you should treat him like a regular person
Who sets a child on fire? I am not asking because of emotions, but pure logic. What logical reasoning is behind setting a child on fire? Seriously, that must be the best way to make everyone, even your strongest ally, back away from you in fear and disgust. I fail to understand.
Lets be real and look deep into this issue If America never invaded this would have never happened to him. There is nothing that can change that. When he grows up his hate will grow with him and he will hate America and Americans despite what they tried for him. I dont blame him cause I would be the same. Millions of Iraqies dead (one of them my relative) millions of angy family members. You cant do all of this and not expect any revenge from anybody. The world will see his face in the future.
You sick mother fuckers will come up with any reason possible to blame this on Americans.
The fact of the matter is that there are sick people on this planet that will pour gasoline on a little boy and lite him on fire. Im all for Americans killing every last one of those fucking scumbags.
It was the American people that reached out to this little boy and his family to give him the bets treatment money can buy.
NOT the terrorist scum that did this to him, and not even his own arab people!
Quoted for truth. Although the americans did invade a wrong country, they didn't really ment harm, they just wanted to establism a free society. They didn't understand that a country ruled by tiranny and islam would not adapt.
Still, Islam and tiranny is the blaim for this kid's destiny. They went into the twin towers... they asked for retribution.
i feel bad regarding what happend to this kid. now i'm simply glad that he is able to start his life again. a true picture of courage, grit and determination. what's the title of this song?
And gilsonj - this is a beautiful video and please tell David Burkhart it is a beautiful song as well. I have followed Youssif's journey from the first article Arwa Damon wrote - and still follow it. You video and the song have captured the inspiration that is Youssif. Excellent work to both of you.
aloneinamerica - You miss the point. It's not about how it happened - it's about how do we walk away without helping now that it did. I can't change the whole World - but I did help change Youssif's World. And now that I know I can make such a big difference in another persons life - it has motivated me to do even more, to help even more people. And the great news in that I'm not alone in America in my efforts to help.

Thats right kill 10000+ innocent Iraqis and show a heart warming humble story (with soul soothing music) about how humane we are and how much we care about other people, if this story doesn't heal their wounds,i don't know what will.
Go head thumb me down call it a spam, i know you cant handle a truth.
Actually, there is a major difference between a rebel fighter against the majority (a terrorist), a religious fanatic (a terrorist) and an insane criminal (a terrorist).
Dave Burkhart is able to delicately capture Youssif's painful struggle. His song also provides hope and courage of overcoming this tragic event. A very powerful and beautiful song!
